My girlfriend and I just returned from Amsterdam. We stayed with AmsterdamEscape in their Snug apartment. This little romantic studio looked great and very unusual and it lived up to our expectations. On our arrival, we were met by Mo who showed is int the basement studio, it's down a few steps in the basement. The Snug is a pretty...

The guys at AmsterdamEscape are still the best accommodation in town. We stayed with them 10 years ago and finally got back to stay with them again for our 10th anniversary. We got to finally stay in AmsterdamHollywood and what a difference Escape make to a stay I just wish there were more places around that do it like AmsterdamEscape,...

This place was absolutely rocking on a Thursday night in Amsterdam, the place is very big. Djs are always great here. Definitely will be coming back again next month. Only €10 at the door which was cheap as it closes at 5am :)

Ok, so I stayed here twice in both July 2013 and December 2014 and, considering we were three guys in a place with one proper bed, it was fantastic. House manager (Mo) was helpful and friendly, and the room was spotless. It's on the third floor, up some standard Amsterdam twisty stairs, and there's no lift, so probably not great...

Amsterdam Escape ran an ad in Private Eye some 20 years ago. Apparently, I was the only person to respond but it was pretty targeted marketing as I must have rented apartments from them about eight times. Years ago, Dee, Emmett and Brendon ran the show but not sure who is around these days. I have not stayed in one...

We had a fantastic time in Amsterdam, and the Hollywood apartment we stayed in was a big part of our enjoyment. Everything went as we had hoped and the apartment was - modern, clean, warm, well equipped, everything worked, and we could smoke in the apartment - plus, the location was fantastic in terms of being in a central location...

I have stayed in the Coke apartment and the Hollywood on a few different occasions now (Always booked through Amsterdam Stay) and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in Amsterdam! Both apartments are quirky, clean and all round an enjoyable place to spend your holiday. These places are defiantly not your conventional hotel/hostel and thats the reason why i...

We just stayed in AmsterdamHollywood for 4 nights and we had a ball. We loved the great amazing central location overlooking the canal and so close to Dam Square, Nieuwmarkt and Rembrandtplein. We hired 2 bikes (highly recommend) so getting about was so easy. We parked the bikes outside the building which was great. The apartment was great, a real...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
