Great location, a short walk from the train station and close to major sites. Vlad's mobile app is very helpful as Amsterdam can be very confusing for first timers. This B&B is NOT fit for people who can not climb stairs as the stairs are extremely steep. There are many choices for breakfast. 2 kinds of bread, jam, ham, cheese,...

This was my fourth time staying at Maes B&B but the first at the Herenstraat property. I was there with my daughter who hadn't been to Amsterdam before. We checked in with Vlad who was very helpful and shown to our room. It was a lovely room, spotlessly clean. Breakfast was really delicious. I had read rave reviews before about...

We booked this B&B due to the previous reviews and we were not disappointed. The location was perfect, we walked everywhere, and Vlad could not have been more helpful. The app helped so much, what a great idea! The few times we almost got lost, we easily found out way back to the B&B. We had the attic room and...

We stayed here on our very first Europe trip years ago and again on every trip since. The first time we were young, out of our element, and uncertain. Now I can't imagine Amsterdam without the amazing and kind place + proprietors of this b & b. This is still among my fondest memories of Europe and I will forever...

We just spent 4 nights at the Maes B&B in Amsterdam. The owners, Vlad and Ken, and staff are wonderful! They have been more than gracious hosts, going out of their way to make our stay special. Everyone has been knowledgeable, helpful and just good people. The facilities are clean and comfortable and the breakfasts offer something for everyone. We...

April in Amsterdam and we found a wonderful place to stay - Maes B & B close to the Jordaan area and close to Central Station. The directions given for finding the house were excellent and it was about a 10 minute walk from the station. The initial briefing about the room included all we needed to know and also...

Had a really good stay at Maes B & B. We were looked after by Vlad and were made really welcome, breakfast was brilliant a lot of choice and location right in the middle of central area but still very quiet. Gave us a very useful app which was good for places to eat. We would highly recommend.

We just spent 3 nights at Maes. We were met by Vlad at the entrance of Herenstraat but he brought us to a different locale on Singel. Both locations were very convenient to local restaurants, The Anne Frank House and Janaan, the Jewish section of Amsterdam. Decent breakfast of fruit, yogurt, cereal, ham and cheese and croissants, One of the...

On the cab to Maes' B&B, the cab driver remarked that we couldn't be in a more central location. He was right! For first-timers in Amsterdam, to stay in the canal district is totally enchanting. Maes' B&B enhanced our visit to Amsterdam as the house and rooms were decorated in Dutch style but with modern touches, like the bathrooms. We...
