We stayed 1 and 1/2 nights. Saw blood on the sheets after night one. Woke up the middle of the second night with bedbugs crawling all over us. They gave us another room, but would you sleep in another room? We camped out in the lobby until the owner was contacted. He agreed to give us our money back for...

This is undoubtedly not a hotel. It's a hostel... and one not worth the price at the door. For the same price you can get better accommodation and without a death trap of a lift. Staff were always surprised by any questions and had no info on tourist activities in the area.

The Armada is located on the Keizersgracht near the Amstel River, a few blocks from Rembrandtplein in Amsterdam. Our room was on the 4th floor with a view to the canal. Like most hotel rooms in Amsterdam, it was small, but comfortable for the price of 80 Euros per night for the two of us. The room was equipped with...

Nothing in this hotel is as stated in the 'blurb' Triple rooms are not large and airy - barely enough room to get around the beds. We had to sit on the bed if any of us wanted to move around. Wardrobe space is minimal. Ensuite bathroom was a small 'wet pod' in the corner of the room. Decor is...

Armada Canal View is a backpackers hotel with nothing fancy for those looking for a comfortable stay. It offers minimal amenities and there's absolutely nothing about the hotel to write about. It would be a dissappointment for most.

We arrived at our original hotel only to be told our reservation had been canceled. There was another party with the same problem. Both of us were moved to the Armada. We were told when leaving that the Armada had agreed to pay the taxi but that never happened when we arrived. The price for the room plus the 3%...

I moved from one hotel to this one, which I was so pleased about, the room were just the right size, it had an elevator, breakfast is included in the price, its not a luxury hotel but has everything you would require from hairdryer, breakfast, tv, phone, lift, is close to everything and very very helpful staff. Its a lively...

I have never written a bad review before, if I wasn't happy with my experience I would tend to just chalk it down to experience, however..... First with the good points.. the location as everyone says is excellent, and the staff were friendly, but that's the end of the positive stuff. The rooms are tiny and seriously basic which you...

Good location and the staff were very friendly. I would recomend that you book a double room and not a twin if possible, the doubles are much much more spacious (twice as big) and are on the top floor away from the noise, we however stayed in the twin room which is on the ground floor, so our window was...

I was a little apprehensive about this hotel after reading the mixed nature of the reviews but I needn't have worried as it was an OK little budget hotel. I went with 5 other friends and we had two triple rooms - the room that I was in was a bit on the small side but we managed. The bathroom...
