Sylvia was very helpful in giving us all the details before arriving at the boat. We were warmly welcomed by Theo, her husband. The room was super clean. A relaxing and peaceful place after a long walking day. The breakfast was amazingly good and well presented. I highly recommend you to stay at their houseboat, you won't be disappointed.

My two teenagers and I just spent three great days in Amsterdam, and a wonderful three nights at the Boat & Breakfast de Dageraad. Owners Sylvia and Theo were gracious and always easy to contact throughout our stay. Their houseboat is charming and the breakfasts each morning were delicious. We felt spoiled!

Very nice people made this a special place. The boat gives a unique experience to stay. Interieur is modern, clean and cosy. Breakfast is very good and they put their energy that you eat a local, home made dish... it's close to the city and the owners know the city and it's nice places. Above all, it's heaven silent on...

We had a wonderful stay at de Dageraad. Thanks to the floor heating it was always warm and cozy:) We highly recommend the breakfast (actually it's more a brunch than a breakfast ;) Thanks to the bikes we were able to rent from Sylvia, the city trip to Amsterdam was 100 times more fun! Plus if you don't get lost,...

We stayed for three nights, I couldn't imagine that staying anywhere else in Amsterdam would beat this. The boat is immaculate, breakfast excellent, stunning views and peaceful; Sylvia and Theo couldn't be more helpful. Perfect spot to explore Amsterdam and on one day we had great fun on their hire bikes.

We stayed at „De Dageraad“ for two nights in October 2016 and had a wonderful experience. Both guest rooms on the boat are absolutely top-notch and it was very convenient to have a kitchen in between where we could have a coffee or store drinks in the fridge. We received a very warm welcome and the breakfast we got was...

An excellent place to stay. Wonderful hosts Sylvia and Theo give the feeling that is hospitable king. Not far to the attractions of Amsterdam. We will gladly return. The rooms are comfortable and the feeling on a ship to be is wonderful.
