The hotel is located in a listed national monument dating from 1744. Round trip boat tours can be taken from opposite the hotel. The Dam and the Anne Frank House are just a 10-minute walk away.

This is a perfect hotel for a 1-2 night stay to explore the city. It allows you to go by Train or get a taxi. For inroom dining, there is an Alber Heyn supermarket nearly next door, that virtually sells everything. The rooms are a bit dated, but the beds are still oke.

Nice hotel. Very good situated, all in very short walking distance. Not noisy. Very friendly and helpfull staff. Good breakfast and fairly priced. Had 3 nights a single-room. Good bed,a bit short for me but wide enough so i fitted in with my almost 2 meter. I will be back.

I can say this is one of the worst hotels I have ever stayed in between having a box room with two single beds and a bathroom you couldn't move in the breakfast was cold and felt like staff were trying to move us on quick .then the air con wouldn't work when it did start working
