Excellent hotel staff, an amazing shower and you meet different people every other day. There is also a safe deposit to withhold all your valuables when you are on the go. Also centrally located which is a bonus.

The room is good for the amount of money you pay for it. Simple but clean. Pretty much what you'd expect. The staff is very nice though!! The only thing I found to be a bit less ideal is the fact that the rooms are very noisy, I woke up a few times in the middle of the night because...

The location of the hotel was great, really easy to find and near the museum district. But the room itself was rundown with water spots on the ceiling and cracked paint. One of the bunk beds was being held together with ducktape and the wifi almost never worked. Pretty overpriced for the conditions of the hotel itself. Would not stay...

with exception to the window, it was broken and outside was loud and prevented a smooth nights sleep with no ability to close it tight . It was always nice and warm and new sheets daily, coffee shop across the road if that's your thing.

The dormitory was eally dirty, and there were a lot of noises and what is written on the website is not correct (no breakfast, no bikes...) the personnel is nice but it is not a good place to stay, even if the hostel is located in a good square

We stayed in the first floor above reception and had booked a quad room with private bathroom. The room contained 2 bunk beds, looked fairly clean and tidy. The bathroom was very clean, not what I was expecting for a 1 star it even came with complimentary hand wash. Walls were rather thin and we could hear next doors conversations....

Awful hotel not as advertised , dirty , un secured and broken . In my travelling partners opinion so bad we couldn't stay . Spent 273 euros on a room we didn't stay in no effort in even letting us air our problems with management. Total rip off. As a man with young children who can afford to lose that...

Staying in Jordaan

Neighbourhood Profile
Jordaan
One of Amsterdam’s most preferred outdoor markets and some of the city’s favorite watering holes are but two of the many reasons to save ample time for a stroll through this especially convivial warren of narrow streets with its unfair share of quirky shops and quality galleries. Historically a haven for the working class and emigrants, these days the Jordaan is better known as an enclave for artists and designers. As popular as the Jordaan is as a destination for locals and out-of-towners alike, the area never feels particularly touristy or overrun with outsiders. A highlight even for long-time Jordaan residents, be sure to accept any invitation to step within one of the area’s beloved courtyards or to have a sneak peek inside one of its many working studios.
