Stayed there for 2 nights. The location was superb, as it is in the centre and just beside the main metro station. The room was comfortable, but the floor was not clean. They was many dust and hair on the floor, so I was a bit dissapointed with that. The receptionist was friendly, but at one time, one customer skip...

We stayed at this hotel for four nights at the end of March 2017. We arrived by train at Amsterdam Central Station direct from Schiphol Airport and found that the hotel was about a 5 minute walk from the station which was a bonus. The check in was smooth and efficient and the staff on the reception desk were friendly...

This is a little gem if you want to be a block from Central Train station and in the heart of Amsterdam. it is very much a budget hotel but the location is amazing and it comes with a comfortable room, wifi and breakfast. Try to get a room away from the main road. The staff are pretty friendly and...

The best part of the hotel is that it is just 2 minutes walk from the train station. Staff is quite helpful and always ready to assist. I had minor an issue with house keeping which was handled in most professional manner

Visited in Nov 2016. It's walking distance from central station. Small bathroom. Basic. Clean. Hotel. Small room Breakfast was enough. 1-2 nights is OK. No water kettle in the room, need to go down to lobby to get hot water.

It's not easy to book for one night in Amsterdam on a weekend. I booked a single room for £155 and was allocated what can only be described as a prison cell.A tiny room with a single bed with a window looking into a dark shaft in the centre of the building. There is no way that I could have...

This hotel is very well located just across from the station and walking distance to all the main attractions. We've stayed here before and hence chose to return. This time our room was slightly bigger than last time which was a nice suprise, although being an Ibis Styles it was still small and the bathroom completely impractical (which you'll find...

I stayed here with my daughter in June 2015. A great location with walking distance from railway. Especially when coming in from international airport. Also great access to canal cruises, trams and the hop on hop off bus Room was a bit small but as we were only sleeping that was fine. We had no view to street. Bathroom shower...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
