Arrived here late, after missing our flight from Glasgow. We emailed the owners and they were fine to wait on us. When we arrived they only had one room left which turned out to be a whole apartment. 3 floors with a 2 huge bedrooms, a dining room, living room and amazing shower. We had only paid for one bedroom... More

This is more of a B&B, the description stated with air conditioning and we got a room without. This is a no frills stay, with separate rooms from the care takers. Location was ideal and the price was the deciding factor. Would not stay again.

The place did not look anything like the photos we had seen. The toilet was in the shower and everything was quite old and worn looking. Not what we expected but was quite homely and the location was fantastic!

This was my 3rd stay with Truelove Guesthouse and I have booked again for twice in October. The apartments are in a clean, quiet location, close to all local amenities. Beautiful, spacious and airy, an excellent place to stay for a long or short break. The owners are lovely too. Can't wait until October.

We stayed in a property a few minutes walk from the little store that you check in at, the guy who checked us in walked us there. We had a little apartment to ourselves with a loft bed accessed by a steep ladder and a bathroom with shower and sink right in the room. It was quite spacious since it... More

I booked this for me and my girlfriend for valentines day and it did not disappoint. We checked in through the owner who's based in the antiques shop over the road from the property and got our keys. I'd booked the standard room but we were lucky enough to get upgraded to the large apartment on the top floor. The... More

I recently stayed 3 nights at the guesthouse. I made arrangements to meet the operator's at their store on Prinsenstraat and pick up the keys and pay cash for my stay-which was their preference as they were reluctant to accept credit cards. We then walked together about 7 minutes to the property which was located canalside on Herengraacht- a fantastic... More

We were lucky to get our own studio directly at the Prinsengracht. The staff was very very nice. It was great to have a place all to ourselves and just by the big window and look at the Gracht. The room was clean, there were some supplies for making coffee and tea, the bed was big and very comfortable. We... More
