We stayed here for 5 nights and although the room was small, the bed was very comfortable and the shower strong and hot. We also had a safe in our room. Breakfast was reasonably priced and adequate although we ate there only twice. Lovely location on the canals. Staff friendly and helpful and provided maps of the city. Would recommend.

Stayed at The Times for 2 nights with husband in May 2017. The hotel is small and cozy. There staff is very friendly. Location of the hotel is great. We had a room for about $170 per night in the basement without breakfast. Someone walked around above us late into the night and both of us heard it. It was nothing special, just okay. Best part was the location - easy to walk to restaurants, bars, etc. Not much to say about it, just average really, especially for the...

A small but very well organised and decorated hotel. We had lucky to spent the weekend in their best room (551 - bigger room and canal view). Central area near to everything (even if you want a real Amsterdam experience, there is a cool coffee shop in the corner - Amnesia).

Main advantage is the location, a short and pleasant stroll a few minutes from Dam Square, and still a fairly quiet part of town, compared to the areas on the opposite side of the Dam Square. Also good location to access the cozy western canals. So location is great! Our room seemed clean enough, and felt fairly updated. But the...

The hotel is located on the Herengracht canal, in a very quaint area walking distance from the railway station (15 min) and city center (10 min). There are many moderately priced restaurants nearby. The rooms are not large but contain all the necessities. They serve a nice breakfast including an espresso/cappuccino machine and juices. The staff is friendly and helpful.

Nice friendly staff at reception when we arrived. Nice clean reception with maps and plenty of leaflets for local attractions. Room was clean and the beds were comfortable. Tea making facilities were provided along with bottled water. Clean towels provided daily too.

Nice, small clean hotel with a very kind lady at reception! We only stayed for one night, the room was perfect for a quick stay with comfy beds, clean rooms and interesting wall paintings. Though the hotel room was small it had everything we needed and was really clean and cozy! Would recommend to others and would stay there again.

The staff was extremely helpful, especially Ester. Prior to arrival, she helped secure a canal room for us our second an third night and was able to give us information about restaurants and nearby attractions upon our arrival. Switching rooms to the canal room our second night was a great option! The room had an amazing view and was a...
