I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights ~ Weds, Thurs and Friday and was very pleasantly surprised. I booked without reading the reviews, but did have a look at them before I flew and was expecting an awful experience. The location is fantastic with good transport links and in a very nice part of the city with decent bars...

Just returned from 5 nights in this hotel. Brilliant location on a quiet canal. This hotels is really not as bad as the reviews make it seem! Yes the rooms are small, the stairs are steep...but what do you expect in an old canal house in Amsterdam?? The breakfast was fine. es it is cereals, cold meats, yoghurt, juice and coffee/tea,...

I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights with friends. As we hadn't paid much for it of course we were not expecting the city's best hotel. We had a triple room which was quite small but okay for 3 nights, the same with the breakfast: The buffet didn't offer a wide range of different dishes but what they had...

Do not even consider using this place. The staff are the most unfriendly and impolite people I have ever had the misfortune to meet. The breakfast (which I didn't actually eat) is a total waste of space, never mind money. The location is fantastic. With a total renovation and a completely new staff this place could be super. As it...

The hotel is quite comical. Our room was literally under the stairs. I felt like Harry Potter. You couldn't open the door and both my husband and I walk in. And the room itself has a great double bed, but you couldn't walk around it; it literally took up the whole room. The price was great. The location was fantastic-...

Booked this hotel as it was cheap, and quite close to the central of Amsterdam. I hadn’t realized however how close it was to such major tourist spots as Leidseplein, The Rijksmuseum, The Van Gogh Museum, the I am Amsterdam sign and the antique store streets, all of which are about a 5-7 minute walk from the hotel!! The hotel...

Overall my experience at this hotel was great. The bed was really comfortable. Its in a quite area but only about 5 to 10 minutes walk anywhere. I used bus transfers from the airport however on the way back i had to catch a taxi which cost 55 euros!!! The service was good and so was the cleanliness of the...
