My friend and I recently spent a week with Peter and Wolter at Kamer01. If you are looking for a quirky, comfortable bed and breakfast within easy walking distance of most of Amsterdam's attractions we would recommend Kamer01 to you. Peter and Wolter made us feel so welcome - Kamer01 is an original, authentic canal house which shows Peter's skills...

Great location, wonderful breakfasts, very helpful and gracious host. Overlooks the canal, yet noise was not an issue. Very convenient to tram lines and walking distance to most major attractions. Would stay again on any future visits to Amsterdam.

we stayed at Kamer01 to celebrate our 25 wedding anniversary: it was amazing, perfect and awesome! Peter and Wolter are excellent hosts (forget the guidebooks, they know the best things to see and do in Amsterdam!) and have created a truly beautiful set of rooms, with beautiful furniture and art. The breakfasts are absolutely delicious, served with real theatre in...

My husband and I stayed at Kamer01 for 2 nights of our honeymoon, and it lives up to every review! Peter & Wolter are incredible hosts - funny, kind, and easy to chat with. Peter, Wolter and their pooch, Tommy, were absolutely outstanding hosts! The breakfasts were wonderfully presented and quite delicious. The location is ideal; right near the heart of the city with access to everything you'd want to get to. Perfect! We would love to return!

Located on one of the most beautiful corners of Amsterdam, this tiny hotel is the perfect romantic getaway destination. There are only three rooms, each one uniquely and tastefully decorated by the owner, a former interior designer. We loved the mix of modern, Dutch, and East Asian elements in the decor. The owner is thoughtful and warm and at the...

Returned for another two nights in this small, but perfectly formed B&B. We felt so welcome - despite Brexit. We will not repeat the superlatives - although they are well deserved. We loved the changes: the warm, new colour scheme in the dinning room and the 'palace' plateau for the delicious breakfasts. Maintaining such top quality is remarkable.

Delightful B&B. Wonderful location at the corner of the 9 Streets, overlooking the canal, surrounded by excellent restaurants with easy access to sites by foot or streetcar. Peter and Wolter have a great sense of humor and are warm, entertaining and wonderfully helpful hosts. Breakfast was superb, different every day with an excellent multi-course array of fruit, cheeses, fish, meats,...

If you have the opportunity, you must stay at the Kamer01. It is a beautiful property and made exceptionally inviting by Peter, the proprietor. It is centrally located, putting virtually everything no more than a 15 minute walk away. The rooms are exceptionally large, for European standards, and the bathroom is a interior decorators dream. There are only three rooms;...
