I had an excellent experience at the Leonardo Hotel in Amsterdam. The hotel is in a location a few minutes walk from the Museumplein square, the Voldenpark and the Leidseplein, it has good restaurants, shops, clubs, everything you need close by. The reception is super well prepared to serve you whatever you need and to provide any information during your... More

I stayed here from 18th-21st November. The hotel is easy to find and only a 2 min walk from Leidsestraat. There's a tram there that you can take to the airport in like 20 mins. Otherwise it's a nice walk from there to anywhere in the center of Amsterdam. Room was clean and had a TV, hairdryer, excellent shower/bathroom. The... More

After looking at reviews I was sceptical about booking this hotel but we thought we should give it a chance. Now after returning home I realised we should have gone with gut instinct. I travelled with a friend both of us in our twenties we arrived on the Thursday morning(early) after travelling and being up from the Wednesday morning due... More

Location is great and it was quiet. The staff booked us in and checked us out, but there was no other conversation or welcome. Wi-fi didn't work in the room - had to go to the lobby. Room was drab, in need of refurbishment/maintenance and not terribly clean. One tiny piece of soap provided for 2 people for 4 nights... More

Stayed at the Leonardo few years back and surprisingly didn't drop in standards. Staff very friendly, nice restaurant and location simply perfect. I would definitely book here again if back in Amsterdam.

Good location to get around town, small rooms (some VERY tiny). Rooms clean and adequate. Breakfast is a bit poor and expensive for what get (13 Euros). Wifi slow but ok. Staff very friendly and helpful.

Really not impressed with this hotel, the location was excellent and great location to the trams taking you to other areas of the city. Reception staff were rude except one very nice lady who couldn't have been more helpful! Wouldn't recommend.

This hotel does not live up to the expectation you may get from the photos, the shower is mouldy with a curtain and no screen, we were there four days before we finally got a bath mat left by housekeeping, no replacement bath products, and the bed sheets were not changed in a week ( and one had a whole...
