My friend and I stayed here for 3 nights. Fantastic value, great food in the bar and really lovely friendly staff. Excellent location and easily walkable from Central Station. As in Amsterdam, getting uostairs could be challenging fir some, but we managed!

Room was so so small, a lot smaller than it looks in pictures! Cannot walk past the bottom of the beds properly, you have to side step there is that little room as it's so close to the wall. No full length mirror. Under the beds are extremely dusty, beds are really small singles. Wifi doesn't really work even though...

I took my mum here for the weekend as a Christmas/birthday treat. The hotel was beautiful and authentic, the room was small but clean, functional and had a good sized bathroom for the two of us. We only stayed one night so space was not an issue. We stayed at the front of the hotel which was a little loud,...

When looking at the pictures on the internet, it looks like it has space, but no...it's very small and the reception does not exist: it's the restaurant that serves as a reception. Anyways, they are super nice and the restaurant itself is very cute. Going to the room, it only has one staircase, very straight staircase. The room is too...

We booked a room they advertise for 204 euros per night. Compare that picture to the actual room. It doesn't appear to be the same building. It's a dive. It's really false advertising and booking companies should take this off their lists. I'm hoping the smoke from the coffee shops below us help us sleep.

I stayed here in August and really liked it. We had a room on the top floor and loved it. It was clean and the ensuite was of a good standard. I should warn those staying on the top floor that the stairs are very narrow but this is not unusual for a property of this type in Amsterdam. I...

Booked twin and triple rooms Saturday to Tuesday. Hotel rooms spotlessly clean and good shower in ensuite wet room. Fresh white linen and towels. Breakfast good value and tasty. Excellent location. Staff exceptionally friendly. Small storage area to leave cases after checking out which was much appreciated as we had an evening return flight. Stairs very steep however this seems...

We stayed 3 nights. Paid for medium sized room, it was small and no dressers or tables to put things on. Clean, but torn sheets and towels, Paid extra for breakfast. It was good with European style cold cuts, cheese, bread, coffee, juice. Many narrow steps to climb. Difficult with luggage. No a/c. Priced accordingly I guess compared to other...

Neighbourhood Profile
Centrum
Amsterdam’s buzzing hub, with its sprawling network of tram rails and a seemingly constant flow of tourists and commuters, yields convenient access to some of the best sightseeing, shopping, and street life in Europe. Closest at hand are the Royal Palace, the quaint shops of Haalremmerdijk, the pedestrianized zones Kalverstraat and Dam Square with popular neighborhoods such as the Red Light District, and the Canal Ring hardly more than a moment’s stroll away. With the well-connected Centraal Station as Centrum’s base, it's easy to travel farther afield via one of the city’s iconic trams.
