i'll stay again. i'm finding i like zeedijk, newumark area and the harbor. it would take a few weeks to cover the area's hot spot. amsterdam is an amazing city on many levels. had a great stay in this section of the city. good food, bars, views. ten minute walk from centraal station. you'd be hard pressed to find a warmer area of the city.

The room was small but okay. It was nice to have coffee and tea in the room and a refridgerator because the hotel did not serve breakfast. There are a lot of books in the foyer you can read or swap with your own books. Personnel was very kind and helpful.

Staff was very friendly and available to help. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and had a very nice shower. I have sensitive skin but their shower soap was very pleasant and safe to use! The walls were a bit thin but the building was quiet enough that it never became a problem. Recommend!

This hotel exceeded our expectations. We chose it based on location and because other families had scored it highly. The location was excellent. 10 mins walk to Central Station. Lots of family friendly food options and supermarkets within walking distance for little legs. Shower was decent and plenty of hot water. Good sized fridge in room. Free coffee from machine in reception. Staff were cheery. No rowdy noise at night.

This hotel was in a great location. A few minutes walk from everything including the train station. Staff was very friendly. Nice room but the floor was a bit sloped due to it being an old building. Massive bed with a mattress topper. We didn't notice it was 2 singles pushed together until the third night. Nice bathroom, shower a bit slippy. Tv positioned not high enough away from where you walk through to the bed. Lots of conveniences in the room: iPod docking station, tea and coffee making facilities, fridge, safe. The library downstairs was really cool. Free coffee at reception (a bit weak for our liking but nice touch). Window didn't stay open by itself. Overall would highly recommend. We will definitely stay here on our next visit!!
