An overnight stop on business, this hotel is around a 10-15min walk from the town centre and train station down the main boulevard. Den Helder is an unusual place to start with, so I guess the quirkiness of this hotel matches perfectly. An unassuming building from the outside, its the inside that takes some getting used to. Upon check-in I...

Rather a motel than a hotel. For families or wedding parties. Very friendly and helpful staff. You must pass walk through the bowling section before coming in rooms aera situated around an open space where parties or concerts take place. VERY VERY weak WiFi connection. Impossible tu use after 05PM. Very hard mattrasses. No decoration in room. Average breakfast. Correct...

Poor attention at reception, was signed in by the bar staff as the receptionist was busy ten feet away. Hotel is tired and shabby, decor could at best be described 'quirky', more likely bizarre and creepy. Like an odd warped Disneyland. The rooms around the central atrium are blocks created in warehouse. Dirty and poorly appointed, it's clearly possible to...

"How is it?" I asked a couple enjoying early evening drink as l approached A hesitant " not bad" was the reply Well it looked in need of a lick of paint as l parked the bicycle and after a long day l was in need of something special Well the first speciality was the outrageous price of a single...

My team and I were staying at the hotel for a engineering competition (Racing Aeolus, check it out!). The hotel itself is full of different objects which adds to the ecclectic style of the hotel. The staff is amazing, very friendly and open to getting to the know each client. Would definitely recommend this hotel!

Good: Near centre Parking Staff Restaurant for dinner and breakfast. Bad: Room, what can I say? Like a 60s council flat. Arranged round three floors facing inwards to some sort of theatre. Concrete stairs awkward to take luggage up. Lift hidden away and not signposted. Rooms dark, carpet stained, walls have marks on. Furniture old, some rooms have fridge, ours...

Was there for a business trip. The room was nice and slept very well. With a huge flat screen in the room. Mussels was just great. Took a while but was really nice. Service was very convinced. Oil and Gas industry are quite down. But they try there best to offer new advantages All the best and Good luck.

When we arrived We thought we had the wrong place because the frontage looked just like a 10 pin Bowling Alley. The entrance to reception is at the side of the building. We were checked in and as we were a little early our room wasn't ready. The owner offered us coffee whilst we waited, which was a good start....

Stayed here for 1 night in November whilst passing through. Interesting place, 10 pin bowling alley, double decker bus for a bar. Rooms are basic which is fine and the staff pretty friendly. For the price, it's what you can expect. Got some "chinsy" odd and random ornaments lying around to keep you busy. Only complaint was no kettle in...

Everything in this Hotel is in the average (apart from a fantastic WIFI Connection and the excellent hospitality of the staff): the rooms are in the average, the food is in the average and so on ... But it has something "special", that makes this Hotel a really nice experience: it's a 15 minutes walk from the centre (but they...
