clean, the most plentiful breakfasts in Europe, extremely friendly owners, reasonable cost and good location at the edge of the central city. the rooms are a good size and come with a DVD player and movies, although on vacation it does not seem like a good use of time to watch movies.

My friend and I spent a week there. The room was clean and beautiful, with a super comfortable bed and a big tv with many films to watch. Breakfast was the best part of the day: the owners cooked eggs everyday and there were several choices! We loved it! The b&b is very close to the city center. We really...

Lovely House set on the Canalside. One night stay en-route to Antwerp. We stayed in Loft room on 3rd floor which was very cosy. Comfortable beds and a great place to stay. Lovely breakfast. Very near the centre of Haarlem, so ideal for shopping, Restaurants and Bars. Downside:- Parking in road expensive at 3.25 eu per hour. Free parking nearby...

We stayed at the Bot b &b last week, I would highly recommend it to anyone. The rooms were great, even the small one looking over the garden. The breakfasts were also great, but best of all was Egbert and his sister, so helpful with everything. Haarlem is lovely, and easy to get to Amsterdam from there without the hassle.

My Chinese wife and I stayed in this B&B from the 10 to the 14 of July, first in a big room then in a smaller room (we booked at the last minute). The big room was not the biggest room in the B&B but it was already pretty big, gorgeous and extremely comfortable. The 180cm wide bed is 5...

I stayed at the Bot Bed and Breakfast for three nights with a friend. We were served a delicious, hearty breakfast every morning. We shared a bathroom and shower room with other guests. The room and shared areas were immaculately clean. The area feels very safe and is quiet. The location is also ideal - an easy walk to the...

Recently stayed there with my wife when we were visiting Keukenhof, extremely happy with our choice, our bedroom overlooked the Singel was very well furnished including a massive comy double bed and was equiped with tv and dvd player. The shower room was perfect and the breakfast was a typical hearty Dutch spread. The house was also spik and span...

We traveled throughout Europein September-October 2011 and stayed at different B&B's...The Bot Bed & Breakfast was our first stop and we were not disappointed. Staying in Haarlem outside of Amsterdam was great (only about a 15 minute or so train ride into Amsterdam) and was a beautiful place. On a canal and a short distance to the main part of...

We stayed for a long weekend. The b&b is well situated overlooking the canal and just a short walk away from the pretty cobbled streets and little shops of the old centre of Haarlem. A bus stop round the corner takes you to Keukenhof and it's about a 10-minute walk through the shopping area to the bus stop for Amsterdam....

“- Haarlem station is 15-20 minutes walk and takes you to or from Amsterdam Centraal in 20 minutes (last train back from Amsterdam around 1:20am everyday) - Front is view on the canal, back is view on the nice garden.”

“We had a good size room on the top floor off the breakfast area...which overlooked the canal/main street. I'm not sure how it compared to other rooms but we found it was just the right size with a sink in the room.”
