We spent 6 wonderful days at Chambres-en-Ville in Utrecht and were so glad we chose this comfortable and welcoming B&B for our stay. The hosts were friendly and accommodating, the rooms had every amenity, the beds were comfortable, the baths modern, and the location perfect for visiting Utrecht and other towns in the Netherlands. Since this was Holland, it goes...

we arrived after a 15 minute walk from the station following ida"s instructions at chambres-en-ville to be welcomed by ida and kees. instructions were imparted by ida over a cup of tea as to the keys, breakfast etc. she is a former school teacher with a great wealth of knowledge combined with a lovely sense of humour and is young...

This was a lovely place to stay. The people running it were helpful and friendly, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was divine (see picture!). It is brilliantly located and you can ask them to let you have a parking pass. I wholeheartedly recommend it - but only take small bags with you - the stairs are very steep...

I stayed 4 nights, and visited many historical places in Utrecht as well as in other cities in Netherland. Ida and Kees are very friendly and kind, and I enjoyed staying in Chambres-en-Ville. I feel like having a home-stay in Netherland, and that's nice experience to me. Chambres-en-Ville is also an easy place to access to Utrecht station. It takes...

Stayed here with my husband in the Fall of 2013. He had stayed here previously and wanted to stay here again when we traveled together. Glad I listened to his recommendation! Ida is so welcoming and makes a delicious Dutch breakfast. The location is in the heart of Utrecht, close to downtown and walking distance to everything. We look forward...

My daughter and I spent two nights here this summer. We had not been to Utrecht before and I would say that having another day would have been nice. The city was my favorite in Holland. The old city has an old world charm that has been lost in so much of Europe. This B&B is in an 18th Century...

I discovered this B&B jewel by pure luck, not via booking.com or another site. I got quick reply from landlady herself, Ida van der Wal and I booked the room. This is in fact a house, with 1 room and 1 apartment. Landlady's husband took my lugagge to the second floor, and Ida van der Wal took my backpacjk! Very...

I stayed one night with my daughter in this welcoming, quiet, accommodating, beautiful townhouse. All, of course, thanks to our host Mrs van der Wal. We arrived late, as planned, though this was no problem at all. The room was spacious, nicely decorated, with first rate linen, and all amenties. The real treat, however, was the breakfast in the morning!...

My wife and I could not have been happier with our stay at Chambres. The hostess greeted us warmly with coffee and snacks. The room was charming and well appointed without being over done. The service in general was personal and the breakfast was wonderful. The only thing to note is that the stairs inside the historic buildings are narrow...

My first night in Utrecht was in the Court Hotel. (My review of this hotel is also on Tripadvisor.) Because I didn't like the price/quality of that hotel, this time I chose B&B Chambres-en-Ville. It is very close to the Domtoren (city center) and also an easy walk from the Central Station. I booked the big room (bathroom/bedroom/study room). Reception...
