Americans can picture Veere as a miniature Dutch Nantucket or Savannah – a historic place with cobblestone streets, quaint shops, a yacht harbor, walking paths and a number of fine restaurants. Located directly on the market square, 't Waepen van Veere was the ideal inn in this charming place. The service was helpful and friendly, the room was large and...

Veere is a wonderful little city, extremely well maintained, inviting, popular and modest at the same time. and that all applies also to this hotel. you would not expect this level of quality in a little touristy but sleepy place like Veere. the rooms is comfortable, nicely decorated, spotlessly clean. the restaurant is exceptionally good as well. very professional service.

My second stay in this wonderful boutique hotel in the heart of Veere. My room was huge compared to the small room I got last year. The restaurant offers incredibly good food and the service is fantastic! Had the North Sea Sole, wonderful! Really nice breakfast the next day included in the room rate. Will stay there again next year.

Comfortable room, clean and practical and located in the centre of the quiet and pitoresc village of Veere. Good breakfast. Excellent service by very attentive and spontaneous staff, well trained and efficient. Also excellent quisine offering a combination of local and global oriented dishes. A 9/10 as value for money is on the edge due to rather expensive roomrates.

Came to beautiful Veere for an anniversary evening, and give this hotel/restaurant 2 thumbs up. One of the very nice owners was so kind to let us have a couple of nightcaps after the restaurant had closed for evening & gave us some great tips on what to do in area.

I traveled with my daughter and booked it last-minute. We got the last room which was a family room with double bed and 2 bunk beds at the back of building. It was very hot in room because it had been a very hot day. No aircon, but managed to cool it a bit down by opening windows. Had dinner...

We had a very comfortable stay at 't Waepen van Veere, although our room was a little dated it was clean, comfortable and quiet. The continental breakfast was excellent, lots of cereals, fresh fruit, bread, coffee and fruit juice. All the staff we encountered were very friendly and polite, and the location could not be better, right in the heart...

We stayed here only one night in April 2014. We got a small attickroom for 120 euro, there was a nice bathroom attached, but nothing extra, no spa water in the room, only from the tap, and for 120 euro we found the room extremely modest and stripped of the extra we would have liked. Next morning we had breakfast,...

I agree with "holidaywannabe" really, in that -Rooms were clean and comfortable. Bathroom is slightlyseparate from the sink which is in the Main bedroom. This can be useful if you want to separate your bath-time experience from your partners "make-up" experience" Although a double room, beds are single's pushed together. Downstairs the restaurant area is much more stylish than the...

We went for a quick escape to Veere and booked this hotel online. We booked a comfort room from Sunday to Monday but when arrived, we where upgraded to a Deluxe Room without extra charge. The room was on the frontside of the hotel so a nice view of the "markt" of Veere. Due due this nice gesture, we decided...
