You’d expect a certain standard from a room classified as Junior Suite. Not in this hotel though! The carpet was quite dirty, there was water damage on the walls and some of the furniture were quite dusty. Matrass was worn out, lamps were broken. This all makes you wonder how the lower standard rooms look like! Noises from other rooms...

I have stayed in lots of hotels in delft, but this is definately the worst. Breakfast is charged for on the bill regardless. Monies quoted for room rate is rounded up in their favour on the bill. If Luxury room means peeling wallpaper, damp patches, grubby worn out carpets, a dirty coffee machine with no coffee, grey, worn out towels....

The location of this hotel is absolutely wonderful, situated as it is in a splendid old building beside a canal and bridge in the heart of old Delft. The station and the main square are both only a couple of minutes walk away, and street parking is free up to 10am. (Be careful parking beside the canal, though!) The hotel...

This is surely the worst hotel in the Netherlands. Nobody at the reception, no lights in windows, the outdoor locked and no doorbell. After travelling the whole day, I arrived there in the evening and got in because another guest happened to come at the same time. In the dark lobby I found a message with my name that said...

I arrived in the morning and the guy at the reception said that I was lucky, the room was ready and let me check in. I was surprised to see a fee of 50 euros charged to the bill, for early check in. I was not told about this fee when I checked in. The hotel did not honor the...

This hotel Grand Canal is supposed to have four stars, but it does not deserve any. The room was dirty, nobody came to remake the bed or change the towels the second day, the light on the corridor was not working so that you had to find your way in the complete dark, and the service is awful; the overall...

In March of this year, I made a booking for a twin room and was quoted the price of 258euros for 3 nights plus a tax of 3.50 euro pp per night along with an optional breakfast priced at 12.50euro per person. This booking was made for my brothers who would be staying in this hotel to attend my wedding...

I booked this hotel without reading the previous negative review, and I was surprised how disappointing this may turn out to be. The location is wonderful, but there is no assistance at all. A big dog in the reception (property of the hotel) scared my children, and I had to keep it myself, as no one was there. The price...
