Hotel is currently undergoing renovations and is in a terrible state. It does not deseve the two star rating that Expedia gave it. Stairs/hallways are dingy looking, and there was construction dust everywhere. Location was okay near a tram station), but generally, the neighbourhood is a little trashy. I stayed here on the May 20th, 2007 and found the hotel to be located just a 5 minute walk from Central Station. The front desk staff were very very pleasant and helped me with my luggage to my room. Do not let the price put you off, this hotel is a bargain for sure. I would of paid much...

CONS: 1) small room facing the hotel's junkyard, (there were tyres, pieces of wood, cardboards strewn about!! and the room got a very dirty balcony as well) 2) no tea making facility, (no kettle, not cups are provided. nothing in the fridge bar either, which makes it very inconvenient, especially if you want a drink at night) 3) no pen...

We were invited to a medical event in Rotterdam, 4 people stayed in the hotel for 3 nights. Because there would be partying all over the time we decided to take a cheap and simple hotel we just could enter for sleeping and breakfast. Hotel room clean/comfortable, room overlooked run down apartments to rear and side, "gardens" full of rubbish, old car wheels/bikes and over grown with weeds, same view from breakfast room which was neat/tidy and clean, breakfast was good, staff friendly, the problems are very run down area, felt very unsafe walking back even from the tram stop 200 yards away, clientele...

There were 4 people in our party staying late march. I had a broken foot at the time and specifically asked for the hotel to have a lift/ elevator.
