Very lovely house, spacious room, good bathroom (although I would get rid of the bath and make a big shower for easy getting in and out), small balcony for the smoking people. very close to the beach, Breakfast simply delicious (maybe a bit early on Sunday - 0900-1000 am) but who wants to stay in bed when the sun shines...

We had a really nice modern room on the ground floor front, and it was quiet despite the tram running a short distance away.....this was handy as we arrived by tram from Haag station and it stops about 50m from the B&B. Use this place if you enjoy a short walk to the beach but far enough away from the...

I recently stayed here for two nights and was very pleased with my choice. It is an apartment hotel, so it doesn't have full 24-hour hotel facilities, but the room was of a high standard: spotlessly clean, safe, quiet, sunny and high-ceilinged and it suited me very well. There was a desk and a high-quality big TV and DVD player....

I had a short 2 night business stay at Hotel Plato last month. It is beautifully located and wonderfully comfortable and luxurious. Entire property is very clean and maintained. Rooms very well designed according to the needs of travelers and had a TV and small kitchen, which we never used. Staff was very courteous and attentive. Room service was prompt...

Hotel Plato is a small hotel. The room are good and clean. The breakfast is ok, not too much, but good enough. Personal is friendly. Problem is parking. There is not much space for that, or walk 5 minutes and you can park free.

Hotel is small, but nice. The rooms are in very good shape and well furnished. Very clean. Some stairs are steep and might be a problem for handicaped or older guests, but no isssue for the average Joe. Check in was very slow and locals seem to be granted some preference. Little flexibility with late check out and no flexibility...

Very nice place to stay. Although I wouldnt call it a hotel as there is no Bar. We stayed down stairs in a very nice room. It was large and had a small kitchen (which we didnt use) It is close to a small town and about a 15 minute walk to the Seaside. I think it is better to...

I lived in the front first floor apartment in the Hotel Plato for an entire summer several years back. It was very pleasant, very convenient, and the people working there are so nice. I really cannot recommend this property enough. First, the rooms are lovely--with comfortable beds, television, a sitting area and a fully equipped kitchen. Also, my room had...

I love this place so much. The company rented it out for me during my visit to Netherlands. It is a service Apartment. Located near to Scheveningan, The Hague you can spent your evening jogging near the beach or else just read a book. The studio apartment is comfy enough with fully furnished kitchenware for you to cook your own...

Official Description (provided by the hotel)
The concept of Hotel Plato is quite unique. All of our rooms are very spacious and can be rented as a studio apartment with a fully-equipped kitchen or as a hotel room for a short period. The smoke-free superior deluxe rooms of Hotel Plato have a floor area between 26 and 40 square metres and are among the most spacious and most beautiful rooms in the city. All rooms are equipped with a 40" LED television with full HD signal/52 channels which, for a small fee, can be extended to no less than 152 channels including among others Film 1 & Sport 1. In addition, we offer the possibility to listen to digital radio and play your own music and/or movies on a DVD player. The well-lit spacious desk is an ideal work space and thanks to the extra amenities, such as a direct line phone, voice mail and coffee/tea maker you can work comfortably. Furthermore, most superior deluxe rooms also boast a balcony or terrace. The hotel also provides you with free high-speed Wi-Fi as an additional service. On request, our superior deluxe rooms can also be rented as day rooms at a sharply reduced rate. For guests planning to stay in The Hague for an extended period of time, we offer the superior deluxe rooms as studio apartments, which means that the kitchen, located in a different room, will be opened for the guests. The kitchens are fully equipped and fitted with all appliances such as a ceremic hob, microwave, refrigerator, and dishwasher. In addition, all studio apartments have a video intercom system and a personal letter box. ... more   less
