Right next to the cathedral, slap bang in the old center, wonderful ambiance. But once inside (the entrance goes via the Hotel Postiljon) it gets dodgy,. Reception is friendly and explain the combination of 2 establishments : Maison is the more luxurious part. Which means only that there's tea and coffee making facilities. The bathroom door is plastic foldaway without...

But - I really missed an open bar. When I ordered a beer the staff became a bit confused and suggested that I could go to the bar next door. If you visit this hotel as a new couple- don't stay at room 6. The toilet is very open. No door and no upper wall. So you really have to...

Great location. The rooms were very clean. If coming here for that all important first get-away with your new partner it may be good to keep in mind that the toilet doors are very flimsy and will not give the privacy you may desire if those Trappiste ales have given your digestive system an extra push. The breakfast runs from...

Stayed here for one night in December 2013. Location is right next to the cathedral in the heart of Antwerp. With no hotel car park we parked in an underground car park around the corner - less than five minutes walk away. Was surprised at the poor comments from the previous reviewer on the hotel staff. We also arrived late...

This small hotel is part of the larger Hotel Postiljon, they share the same entrance, reception and breakfast room. Our room was not luxurious but clean, the bed and the bathroom were ok. A main disadvantage was that the bathroom, with the toilet, missed a door and also one of the walls, separating the bathroom from the rest of the...

Actually this is not a Hotel for its own, but is forming part of the Hotel Postiljon, as it is sharing the receiption and the breakfast room with the later one. The location is directly in the center of the pedestrian area around the cathredral, and thus not accessable by car, nor can a car be parked in the vincinity...

I am originally from Antwerp and as a proud belgian, i promised my australian GF to take her for a visit to my home country & town. After being delayed for over 3.5 hours due to a technical issue with EUROTUNNEL, my GF and I finally arrived at "maison d'Anvers" around 11.30pm and were looking forward to take a nice...
