Stayed here for 2 nights driving across Europe. Reception is a beauty to behold, paintings on every inch of wall and ceiling. Simply stunning. A very warm welcome, receptionist spoke excellent English and was very accommodating. Short walk to the centre. Cheap parking outside the hotel. We were given the loft room, up around 7 or 8 flights of stairs,...

We were looking for a hotel for a night in transit. This came up and we are glad of the experience. It obviously was a grand building at some point but is now tired. However, the linen was clean, the bathroom immaculate and the bed comfortable. The public rooms point back to more luxury than is currently on offer. The...

The caretakers are very accommodating and friendly. I accidentally tripped the circuit breaker (using electronics from USA) and the caretakers were very professional about fixing it, they remained very calm and friendly. My room was absolutely fine for a solo traveller; includes a sink and electric outlets, the wifi is fast. The shower & toilet (shared) is in a separate...

This pleasant two-star hotel is a find. It is about a 20 minute tram ride from the main rail station to a residential area close to the main arts museum (which is closed, unfortunately, for another few years). The cathedral and surrounding areas are walkable, or easily accessed by a tram a few blocks away. The immediate area has a...

Rates for single rooms among the lowest in this pricey city and included large breakfast in the historic dining room. My room in back of hotel are quiet and simply furnished, extremely clean, renovated...

We rented a room in this B & B. The bed, pillows and blankets had a strong nicotine smell, which is illegal and not enjoyable if you are non-smokers. Bath room was ok, breakfast was basic but ok. € 90 for the 2 of us for 1 night was expensive. The owner Mieke is a very nice Lady.

Travelled with my brother to Antwerp in October and had a perfectly good stay at Hotel Rubenshof. We were in room 15 which was both clean and spacious. The beds could have been a bit more comfortable but the shower was great. The receptionist and staff are unintrusive but helpful and the free map was very useful. A relaxed atmosphere....
