We booked this hotel on booking.com for one night at a very interesting rate. However, we got a room in the monastery. The room was small and dark, not really the reason why we came. Being an interior designer, I really had hoped to see the rooms in the church, but we figured that maybe for having booked at such... More

It's a short walk up from the station, turn left and it's easy enough to find. It's a big old monastery but completely modernised inside. Very big entrance with a bar. Clean comfortable rooms. Come out of the hotel, turn left, cross the road and walk towards the river turn right cross the bridge and you're in the city centre,... More

Walkable to the train station, but you may want a taxi if you have many bags. The place has tons of character, both the old church, and the modern furnishings. The room was quiet, clean, and comfortable. I've stayed here several times, will again.

Awasome location for a good night rest. We've received Martin's coupons and choose this location as it showed nice on the pictures. We were amazed by the fact it really looked like the pictures. Good rooms, not too small not too big, facilities are okay (good bath / shower), separate toilet and the "lead glass windows" are looking very nice.... More

I stayed for three nights (work related - I did not pay for room myself). Loved the building. Room was clean, comfortable, and modern. I was on the 4th floor and my room had stained glass windows (that could be opened for a view outside). Great location - Mechelen is very walkable. Yummy breakfast options were on offer in a... The hotel is located in a former church in the centre of the city. The location is excellent for exploring the city centre on foot, for shopping and dining. On the other hand the directions of several streets in the centre of the city have been recently changed to “one way”. This makes your GPS not very useful. Parking is... More

I stayed here again a couple of nights and it is still a different hotel in a lovely old small town with many bars and restaurants arround to reach by feet in a couple of minutes. However I still try to avoid parking for 25,-€ per night in a very small garage. It is not easy to find parking arround... More

Dear, Thank you for again chosing our hotel for your stay in Mechelen. Indeed our parking is not the largest one. There is a larger public nearby only 5 minutes walk from the hotel. We also noted your recommandations about the minibar and free water. At this time there is already free water available in the lobby. Nevertehless i hope... More

Stayed here for 3 nights and was very comfortable clean and welcoming. Breakfast was a nice selection and very good also. Was very close to the square and canal. Room are very different to any hotel iv stayed with the stained glass and the arches on the ceiling theres still so much of the church left. Very nice hotel.

I stayed here in June just for one night. That was enough. I can't complain about my stay. The hotel (old church) is unique but personally i prefer a room with normal windows where you can actually look outside or open the window for fresh air. Staying in a room where you can't look through the window gives a kind... More
