Stayed for 2 nights - arrived at 11am and they were more than happy to check us in right away (says the check-in time is 3pm). Room was very clean - lovely bath/shower, beds were nice and there was lots of space. TV was small, but only had Belgian channels on it anyway. Staff were very friendly and quick, and...

In the heart of the city center very convenient location. Given the time of the year and location the price was really good everywhere was at least double the amount we paid. It's a place to keep your stuff and sleep nothing too fancy but clean and basic.

I am used to trading "no frills" hotels for a good location a la the Rick Steve's travel philosophy. And I recognize that old charm means old plumbing and odd rooms at times. This place, however, was more like a Charles Dicken's orphanage. I don't think the carpets or bedspreads have been cleaned in 20 years. If you have allergies,...

The hotel location is right next to the train station we came into (centraal). It was also incredibly convenient to a lot of the sites we were going to which was nice for our first stop in a 12 day journey through Europe. The room itself was a little outdated but not horrible. I can't comment on sleeping quality too...

Stayed there for four nights over a weekend - friendly reception, very helpful, comfortable clean rooms and the location is superb - minutes walk from Grand Place and literally hundreds of restaurants. Everything you need is within easy reach. We got excellent rates and really could not find fault in any way. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend this...

Hotel Aris was a good value and a great location! We had room 205 which looked out on the Rue Marche aux Herbes so we could watch all the action. And action there is. This street is in the walking district in the center of Brussels just one block from the Grand Place. Lots of stores, street venders, restaurants, bars,...

For the price this was a very acceptable hotel and the location couldn't have been much better for seeing Brussels. We stayed 1 night in rooms 503 and 504, which was the top floor on the side of the building. The rooms were identical with 2 very small windows (that opened), a double bed and desk. The bathroom was larger...

This hotel was in the center of the city, one block from the Grand Place which was the perfect location. The area around the hotel is lively at all hours of the day but it stayed quiet the entire time and no problem with noise. The front desk staff was very helpful and allowed us to leave our luggage at...

Hotel Aris is indeed a no-frills hotel, but for our stay there as part of a tour group it had a comfy bed and, because the weather was unseasonably warm, huge windows that gave a great nighttime breeze. It was the only hotel on our tour that offered a laundry service (bring clothes to front desk by 9am, back the same...

I will give it a thumbs up for location, very close to things, but the hotel was not very clean, people were not very friendly and the room was uncomfortable. I know rooms are tiny in Europe, but when you can barely have enough room to walk around the bed sideways, it's just too small. The bed was like sleeping on...
