Our host, Koen, does a fine job of attending to the details. This is not a five star hotel, but for mid-range traveller it provides, space, comfort and access to the most interesting parts of Brussels.

Very friendly host who upgraded us to 3dbr apartment on 3rd floor, and carried our luggage up extremely steep stairs (and arranged assistance also on departure). Generous sized apartment and kitchen/dining facilities on 3rd floor, with ensuite and 2 further dbrs on 4th level. Very good base for accessing transport, seeing sights, and nearby good restaurants. Some initial issues with... More

In the center of Bruxelles, near Place Grand Sablon, 10 min walk from Central Station. It's a well furnished apartment with double bed + one single bed, kitchen and all facilities and free wi-fi. Nerby there are a lot of restaurants

Since being widowed this was my first "solo" holiday so I was a little anxious. Apart from a small hiccup on my arrival my stay was absolutely perfect. In the absence of the owner I was greeted by his friend Jean-Paul who was charm personified providing me with all the information needed for my stay. The accommodation is spacious and... More

located in a walking distance from central train station in a relatively quiet street. Kichenette allows you to prepare small meals. Very clean and arranged every day. Most of tourist attractions in walking distance, many restuarants nearby. No elevator and stairs are steep.

Superb double room in quite area of Brussels has little kichenette with everything and spotlessly clean. Reasonable price and close to everything. We opted not have breakfast but milk butter and cereal left anyway. Nice decor.

Good location, spacious, some street noise (quiet street but still people/some noise). (on 1ieme etage 3-p apartment - would be a bit tight for 3 pple but OK); microwave, coffee, milk, water provided - host is wonderful!. 2nd night (a Wednesday night!), music/bass thumping all night, from somewhere nearby (but not directly neighbors), kept me up all night. chemical-sensitive: not... Our stay at Sablon-Aire was simply wonderful. The location is ideal: central, but not so much as to be surrounded by the cacophony of the big city. We were warmly greeted by Koen, who did his best to make us welcome and our stay delightful. Both his restaurant recommendations and his sightseeing suggestions were right on target. The entire apartment... More

Very much enjoyed this little gem on top of an antique shop. The very helpful proprietor brought up fresh croissants each morning and with the Nespresso machine in the kitchen, what more would you need for a lovely Belgian breakfast experience each morning? The decor was understated but a cool chandelier in my bedroom made up for any lack of... More

We loved our 6 day stay over New Year. Koen was away so Jean Paul looked after us very well. We had the 3 bed apartment which is really a 2 bed apartment with another bed in the living area. Lovely district - loads of interesting antique shops and tasty (if expensive) restaurants. We tried Lola, le Wine Bar du... More
