Went to Brussels for a weekend and decided to stay in one of the more expensive places near the city center. Location was great, very convenient to walk out and visit the city. The lobby and cafe' were also very nice, you can see the place has a lot of history. Room was relatively comfortable but old furniture, and the...

Stayed in December for two nights over the weekend. Booked with Expedia and paid however was told at the hotel that you had to pay another 50 euro deposit per day for the room(I've contacted Expedia as this was a problem on their half not mentioning this). Checked in and was given a double room with a double bed. Went...

It was a really nice stay we had! The hotel is amazing and a friendly staff. We only got one small critical point - we could have used more information when we checked in, information about where the breakfast was at the hotel, when.to check out and how to find into the city.

Centrally located near some of the greatest attractions that Brussels has to offer, this charming hotel will take you back in time. Service is good, breakfast great (just a bit pricey), rooms are clean, quiet and spacious and have all the bells and whistles one needs to have for a comfortable stay. This hotel could use a bit of refreshing...

The public spaces of this hotel look grand and they are grand. Our room was the complete opposite of grand. It was cold, the furniture was threadbare and the bathroom could have made a good public toilet. Staff were helpful in all regards including giving us an electric heater and extra blankets. The hotel is well located. I would not...

Went to Brussels on a short extended weekend break with my girlfriend. Upon arrival at the metropole we were both instantly taken by it... like being in an 80s movie..pretty woman or one of those similarly hotel based productions.. amazing decor and the staff very efficient and helpful. The room was nice even though we didn't have a view we...

Spend one night at the Metropole where I felt I was back in time and part of old grandeur. The ground floor is history in action with stained glass, marble and high ornate ceilings and open spaces. It has a really old world feel about it compared to many other Brussels hotels. The bar metropole dining area is beautiful offering...

This hotel is a fantastic hotel. The staff are friendly and above all, it has so much character. The lift was probably one of the most fascinating part. The room was well decorated and a pleasure to stay in. There is nothing bad to say about this hotel. It is located well. Only 5 minutes walk to the square.
