My room price was quoted to my travel agent as 69 euro per night, but when it came time to check out, I was charged only 34.50 euro per night (including breakfast)! Additionally, the staff member who checked me in upgraded me to a better room. This could have been since I was staying for a long time (8 nights)...

In a very fashionable area of brussels, very close to a tram stop (5 mins) and close to a metro station (10 mins). We were on a room only basis so cannot comment on the breakfast. The staff were extremely helpful and courteous, the hotel itself spotless. All in all a very enjoyable stay in Melia Avenue.

Stayed in this hotel for two nights, went on a last minute special offer, two return tickets on Eurostar (travelling in the class above standard and below business) and two nights in the hotel, it came to about £140 each. The hotel is in a very safe area. The staff were very nice and accommodating. The room itself was very...

I just got back from Europe andthis hotel was definitely the highlight. THe staff were amazing and would do anything for us to make our stay comfortable. The rooms were really nice. I would highly recommend this hotel- the breakfast was also fablulous and much more substantial than anywhere else we stayed on our trip

I read tons of reviews before going, which were mostly positive. I must admit I was quite disappointed. I don't think this is a four star hotel as it is rated. I thought that maybe the reviewer with hair and dirt in the room had a unique experience, but I must say I had the same one. We originally had...

My wife and I have traveled to Europe the past three Winters for inexpensive extended weekends in London, Paris and Brussels. We do not mind roughing it with cheaper hotels to spend allocated funds on food and entertainment. What a pleasant surprise to stay in such a wonderful hotel at reasonable rates. The location was perfect, close enough to all...

Wanted to go away for a bit before Christmas and thought Brussels would be perfect for the Christmas Market. After booking a train with Eurostar, looked on Tripadvisor for a hotel (as I always do) and came across this absolute cracker of a hotel. Taking all the reviews on board, I made a reservation through Booking.com and got a great...

We chose this hotel mainly for the location, but also because tripAdvisor rated it quite highly overall, and the price was right. We would have liked breakfast included, but it is expensive at 22 euros extra, so we took advice from the front desk and walked across Avenue Louise to Pain Quotidien, which was lovely, and half the price. The...
