Wow !! From stepping out of the Taxi on arrival & being greeted outside the door through to leaving 3 days later ALL of the staff were wonderful. The reception staff were extremely friendly even when we as a group of 8 returned in the early hours. The bar staff & waiters /waitresses always had a smile & went out...

We were staying in the hotel in a suite, but all the suits were on a busy street, so it was rather noisy. Take a double room, they're on the quiet inside yard. The service is great, the staff friendly and the breakfast is very nice! The price is reasonable and the area is calm and safe. It's one of...

From the moment we arrived at this hotel we had a very bad and poor service from the hotel reception staff and management. As a group of travellers, we've stayed in hundreds of hotels around the world and this is the worst experience any of us have ever had. When we booked, we thought we had booked a lovely 5*...

Service level was excellent, as should be expected given the fairly high room rate. The guest rooms are a bit tired, but spacious and very comfortable. Highly recommend management to consider a major refurbishment! Would certainly not consider Chatelain a five star property. The fitness area is very small with outdated equipment, there's no spa area and the room service...

We spent four nights at the Chatelain, and our experience was absolutely fantastic. Nice room, very clean, quiet, the staff was fantastic, super breakfast. The cost was very reasonable (we had a offer for a long weekend). We'll be surely back here!!!

STAY AGAIN: definitely! Beautiful, lovely, comfortable, and only a few blocks from the MCE, where my meeting was held. I really liked this hotel. NOT DO AGAIN: Don't have the staff call a taxi for you! The one they got for me had no meter. After a kilometer or two, the driver informed me that he did not take credit...

I'm very fussy when it comes to hotels but this was fantastic! Clean, and everything you needed in a room! Staff were fab and spoke amazing English, never a problem with the language barrier. Hotel is right next to a tram station so makes it so easy to get around. Staff helped us get the tram and subway many times,...

Stayed for two days (one night) attending a work conference. Staff were delightful - friendly and helpful. Food was generally very good - with the exception of some completely flavourless smoked salmon on the lunch buffet. After a recent stay in a shoe-box room in Manhattan, I loved the room which was spacious, well decorated and with all the amenities...

Stayed one night at Le Châtelain this September. We had no real expectations as we didn't know this hotel before. We were pleasantly surprised! The staff was extremely welcoming although we arrived quite late at night. The hotel seems to have been refurbished lately and the rooms are spacious and very comfortable. The only negative I would mention is the...

The hotel is very outdated, used to be 5 stars decades ago. An average 4 stars today, rooms outdated, dark bathroom and very small, average front desk service (inconsistent as it depends on who is the manager on duty). The only 5 star asset is the doorman!
