Have stayed here many many times in last 6 or 7 years...has improved immeasureably...clean rooms, spacious bathrooms and a fabulous breakfast! Is a stones throw from Grand Place and central to many pubs and restaurants...would highly recommend!

This is not even 3 star hotel. Location is good if you want to party and be in the middle of touristy routes. Rooms are small and dated, don't look clean at all. Walls are paper thin, so you'll hear the street and the people above you. It's all right for one night and if you are on a budget,...

I booked this hotel because it was right next to the Gran Place and good value but it was in fact a great value. Our room was very large with a huge bathroom. Three beds for two adults and one child and although you could easily miss the enterance and it's not impressive from the outside, it's a great place...

Our tour group loved the Hotel Opera. Situated just a short walk from the Grand Place, la Monnaie, dozens of restaurants, shops, and other attractions, its location can't be beat. The rooms were comfortable, with clean bathrooms, multi-channel TVs, and wireless internet. Breakfast was a cut above the "rolls & coffee" standard. Although the breakfast room is small, our group...

I actually would have rated this place 3.5 stars - it deserves a better than average rating but perhaps not four stars. The hotel has a FANTASTIC location in the center of Brussels, on Rue Gretry about two blocks from the amazing Grand Place. It's convenient to the main commercial district around Place DeBrouckere and the main tourist sites like...

First off the location was fantastic. Just a short trip from Bruxelles Central Station. The room was a bit dingy, but we didn't spend a lot of time in the room. Just down the street from the hotel is the Grand'Place with the myriad of restaurants. We ate very, very good in Brussels. All the amenities one needs on vacation;...

I picked this hotel because of the price (56 euros for a single on a Friday night) - the cheapest decent hotel close to the Grand Place and central train station. I was pleasantly surprised. My room was good sized by European standards, and the decor and furnishings were quite new and pleasant. The furniture and walls were in light...

I stayed at this hotel at the beginning of this month (oct/2004). Its location is perfect, very close to Grand Place and Galeries Saint-Hubert, both within 3 min on foot. The staff is helpful. The room was small but clean. Its bathroom had been recently renovated. The breakfast (included) is OK. The lift didn't work sometimes. Only one big problem:...
