Walkable distance from Gare Du Midi and surrounded by many shops, restaurants, super markets, etc. Rooms are quite OK. There was a tv and a fan, but both didnt work. Washrooms cleanliness can be improved. Kind staff. Hotel have a restaurant as well, but did not try it. Internet is OK.

Had an overnight stay on my way through Brussels - my room was clean and comfortable, and the free wifi was pretty good. The lift that some reviewers complain about is nothing unusual! It's just an old style Continental lift, and it happily got me up 3 floors with heavy bags so I was very grateful for it. Didn't realise... More

I have to say just one thing. I had to stay with chair in the door cause the lock was broken. Very dirty room and no working Internet. I am very disappointed by this hotel In the center of Brussels! It shouldn't be opened to people. I won't recommend it to anybody

Arrived at this hotel - as the hotel I had booked was unable to accommodate us, so transferred us to this '3 star' just down the road. Below is my 20 minute experience - and a few photos! Ok, its in a grotty end of town - not the hotel's fault, and from the outside its actually not the biggest... More

I have stayed in many budget hotels around the world inc. America, Europe & the far East so I have considerable experience of what to expect. I review objectively and will often find a hotel to be very nice where others have given poor reviews. THIS PLACE IS HORRIBLE!! Cramped, old, dirty. I've stayed in much nicer hotels for a... More

Arriving at the hotel I could not find the entrance which was through the restaurant at the front of the building. Seeing the room I was dissapointed by the size and the condition of the fixtures and furnishing. The closet did not have any hangers and the door was lopsided. But the big problem was that there were BED BUGS.... More

I was in Brussels in June this year, to catch an onward train to Berlin. Walking up Avenue Stalingrad, was a bit of a shock. Lots of men from North Africa, sat outside cafes and smoked hookah pipes. Women with heads covered, walked the streets. The area was shifty and noisy. My view of a halal butchers from the window,... More

This is probably the worst hotel experience ever. This was booked late, and therefore with minimal (none) research done, but close to one of the train stations. The reception is rude; they will try to get money in advance from you, and they will try to ignore internet bookings, since they are relatively cheaper. The rooms are dirty, and the... More

There's mould everywhere, the rooms are filthy, placements is terrible. The train nearby makes an unbelievable amount of noise. This hotel is not worth saving a couple euros. I was glad my stay was for only one night and I could scurry out in the morning never to return.

This place was "a substitute" for booked earlier but "technically not available" Auberge Van Strombeek. The ugly bug-house with dirty space, nasty odor and broken furniture situated in very bad place. I can't say anything good about this hotel. One way to improve it - eliminate totally.
