What a lovely place! Consists of two separate buildings, both renovated to an extremely high standard located in the center of town. Parking, as always in Belgium was a challenge and if no spaces available at the hotel one had to use the near by multistory car park (expensive) .It was though only a very short walk away when using...

For the second time we staid one night here. Perfect location, in the center of town. And still very quiet. The breakfast is the best. Fresh fruit, lots of cheese, meat, jam, whatever you like. You don't gave to ask for an egg: the lady of the house - genuinely friendly- offers any preparation, and don't worry: it' great!

OK you don't spell 'wot' like that , but this hotel (Inn might be better word) is an immaculately restored house, in the heart of old Hasselt , where you are given a smiling welcome. Our room was small, but so what ? For night or two just fine. The bed was super comfy, the lay out of the room...

We went to Hasselt to meet family of my wife. It was very special that the last people who lived in this hotel, before it was turned into a hotel, was actually family. Besides that, it was a great place. Close to the center. Lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance. The building itself is beautifully renavoted. We had...

We spend one night with our family at this beautifully renovated B&B. Very centrally located, excellent service, warm & friendly welcome, providing relevant info on the 'secrets' to be found in and around Hasselt, comprehensive breakfast, luxurious/stylish set tables for breakfast, a pity we could not stay longer! We stayed in the Tourmalijn room, which has 4 beds. The available...

We had a very warm and friendly welcome, very nice hostess, she has given us much information about the restaurants and shops... The breakfast was fresh, lots of choice and in a nice interior. The rooms are clean, cosy, soft bed, nice bathroom. In 1 word, this is super!

I was in Hasselt for the first time on a work-related trip. I had a slightly elongated journey because of bad weather and was delighted to have been booked into this 'boutique' B and B. Ann and Liesbeth are charming hosts, the rooms are attractive and very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent and I was only left lamenting tht my...

I have stayed in Hasselt before in the Ibis & Express by Holiday Inn - both of these are conveniently located on the inner ring. This time, I thought I would try out 't hemelhuys right in the centre of the town. The hotel is really a small and old house, located in a very quiet street just off the...

Just into the New Year we decided to treat ourselves to some pampering and booked a night at 't Hemelhuys. We had diner reservations at a restaurant nearby and didn't want to drive home afterwards. We had read the reviews about 't Hemelhuys, the prices were okay (120 euro for a B&B for double room), so we booked the night....
