We only stayed one night to visit an event at the expo arena. So glad we chose De Kiezel. Very friendly and helpful host. First question: would you like a local beer? Always a winner! The room, with an original brick wall was huge. The bed very comfortable with great, cosy duvets. The bathroom was also huge. I have had smaller hotel rooms than the shower! I didn’t want to get out! Breakfast was plentiful, great quality and delicious. I would highly recommend this place!

Disclaimer : I have "only" stayed here for two weeks... It's great... Just as far or as close as you want to the downtown Hasselt - away from downtown but only a couple of bus stations away... Sandra is a great host and the services are first class... Close to bus stations but in a quiet neighborhood. If you want to mix a business trip with some good time off, B&B De Kiezel is your only choice. Had the Sunflower room - big, spacious, furnished but not crowded, GREAT mattress (you could swim in it), great shower, great anything... TV, A/C, heating, great breakfast, anything you could wish for. The terrace is primo, the room also, services and whatever... Did I mentioned Sandra is a great host? Cause she is... Definitely my go to home away from home... Thumbs up!

We recently stayed with friends at this first class B&B. The room was spacious, well furnished and very comfortable. Our hostess, Sandra, was helpful and friendly and more than happy to suggest places for us to visit. Would be happy to recommend this lovely home from home.

De Kiezel is easy to find. Free car park available. Your host is welcoming you, in my case first have a beer and relax. I had a room upstairs. Spacious with a double bed, tv, chairs and a small table for eating or working. Bathroom was huge, good shower. Next morning breakfast is served. Great choice, enough to eat and for those fresh eggs are made to order.
