As a group of four men on a Belgium road trip we went travelling around Belgium and came across this lovely hotel. The host is really friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is spotlessly clean, the rooms a good size (we had one each) and a nice touch in the rooms was the bottled water and small bag of Belgium chocolate. There is so much choice from the breakfast that is on offer and hard to choose from the cooked eggs and bacon, fresh meats, cheeses and warm bread or the choice of cereals. The hotel is well placed for a 3/4 mile stroll into Hasselt where there are an amazing choice of bars, restaurants and food. All in we enjoyed our one night here and would certainly stay here again if we were passing Hasselt in the future.

Traditional European style boutique hotel. Like the personal approach at check-in. Also has very nice and gated parking lot. Rooms are small and depending on the location a bit noisy (stairs). I also did not find the AC and had to open the window as it was way too warm at night. Walked to the center for dinner so very closeby. Good breakfast.

What a discovery: 'Charm Hotel Villa Saporis' is not only beautiful but also cosy, very clean and its hosts really make an effort to make you feel at home. You can feel that they love their 10 bedroomed hotel. And the (5 star) breakfast: waw! Home made ("by granny") bread, cake, jam, you name it. Wonderful, delicious, amazing! We'll come back!

We made an honest mistake by booking for the wrong date, but this hotel was completely unwilling to show us any mercy. We contacted them on the phone to reach a solution, but they treated us without dignity and just laughed at our mistake. It's just unbelievable that they showed such lack of customer care or respect. I would not recommend anyone staying here!

Response from Saporis3500, Manager at Villa Saporis
Responded 30 Aug 2018
Villa Saporis Team

Villa Saporis is one of the loveliest boutique hotels I’ve ever stayed in. Starting with Peggy the lovely professional welcoming lady who also helped us a lot with all the requested information. All the staff were charming and friendly, starting with Natalie and Frank, the manager and owner and especially Frank’s Mom, who was the “Baker” of the homemade magnificent breads, cakes and jam, that were a part of one of the best breakfasts that we (my wife, my brother and his wife) have ever tasted. Very nice room with a nice bathroom, with modern equipment, and nice decoration. The Hotel's location was very good with only short and easy walking to the city center. Highly recommended.

I stayed here with my husband & daughter on our way to Germany, to break up the journey by car, and we stayed on our way back too. So glad we did! It is a beautiful, historic, grade listed building. Our bedrooms with en suite were very spacious and clean. Our daughter even had disco lights in her bathroom! Everywhere in the hotel were nice little touches, such as pictures on the walls, beautiful lighting, chocolate with our coffee in our rooms! Breakfast was superb and the staff and owner lovely and very charming.

Definitively one of the best places I ever stayed, historic and very charming B&B style hotel. Beautiful, great and modern rooms. Very stylish touch and with 10 rooms/suites not too crowdy. Excellent breakfast and the outstanding service by owner Frank and Nathalie gives it an extra touch. Well done !
