It took ages to work out how to review this place. It was almost great, the bed was very comfy and the location was decent. It was very clean, and my husband loved the breakfasts (not enough choice for me, but it was plentiful in quantity). Unfortunately, there were too many minor irritations that downgraded the place. None of the...

We booked this B&B after reading trip adviser reviews on it as we needed a 1 night stop over on the way from Valwig in the Mosel to Bruges. We road into liege and turned into Rue Dartois and were pleasantly surprised at the glass fronted building. We arrived and we parked our motorcycle in the garage at the srteet...

Sabine could not have been warmer and more inviting. She is a terrific host. We stayed in the "Chocolate Suite". It was wonderful. Sabine prepared a delightful breakfast for us. Unfortunately we were able to stay only one night. The location is superb. A 5 minute walk from the train station can't be beat. When our travels bring us back...

I can't say how fabulous this hotel. I know Alex Polizzi doesn't like the title "boutique hotel" but this one is and for €120 (£67) per night for the largest room well it's custom to the needs and stay for a weary traveler and stay in comfort and style. Highly recommend!

My in-laws have been staying there multiple times when they come and visit us. This place is very nice. The owner, Sabine, prepares a succulent breakfast every morning. It is ideally located, just 200m from the train station, almost next to a very good bakery and patisserie, 15 minutes walking from the center (Place Cathédrale),... Only drawback was, for one...

Liege can be experienced at it best by staying in the warm home-like environment provided at "The street Lodge". It provides an excellent balance of privacy and warm service. You can feel like being "at home" in clean, peaceful and well-equpped rooms. The daily freshly-prepared breakfasts are delicious. The owner, Sabine, is very kind and the location is excellent. It...

We had left finding a place to stay in Liège far too late and were put off by the limitations of the city's offerings until we came across Sabine's place. The lodge is beautifully decorated and Sabine was very accommodating, especially to my elderly parents, with whom we were travelling. The rooms were quiet, the beds super comfortable and the...

We stayed in the garden suite. It was spotlessly clean and well equipped. Breakfast was freshly prepared and home made conserves on offer. The most memorable aspect is the absolute peace. A lot of road building and waterworks improvements were happening in the neighbourhood, and it is very near the train station, but nothing could be heard in the room...

and intend to go back with wife. My son and I stayed as a stopover before heading on to Cologne by train the next day but wished we had spent more time here. The Lodge has to be experienced to get a real description of it and Liege is a well kept secret, seeming to me close to a cross...

I stayed one night in this delightful hotel / lodging - I wish it had been longer. The friendly and multi-lingual owners live upstairs to the 'room', and across the courtyard to the 'suite'. I stayed in the 'room', which was large, quiet and beautifully decorated (it is featured in one of Elle's hotel interiors book!). I read in the...

“Either room is brilliant. The Family Suite has a lounge area, dining table and kitchette downstairs, witht he bedroom and bathroom upstairs. It is a bit warmer being upstairs, but there is a fan. The Room is all on the ground floor, and is cool and comfortable in the hot weather, with a sliging door out to the garden.”
