The rather used exterior of the hotel does not do the interior justice. There is a very welcoming reception which is light and airy, with a selection of leaflets suggesting things to do in Stavelot. On our arrival, my partner and I were welcomed by a very accomodating lady behind the desk. We were not shown to our room which...

Super old (yet clean) hotel room. The mattress and bed linen were good and clean but the hotel structure is very old. The wooden floors and staircase would benefit from some maintenance. Staff not so friendly.

Old building.. Wooden floors with cracks between the boards, floor not clean. Nice furniture and comfortable bed. Quiet. Window looked out at another building. Tiny bathroom but adequate shower. Parking free on central square in front of hotel. Lobby smelled of the restaurant's food but the room did not. It was part of our unplanned adventure, adding to the memories of...

The hotel is good, although average. Room was small but cozy. The breakfast was excellent (with champagnette, youpi!). Location is great (Stavelot is a small village anyway). Downside is that the owners are rude ; they are not friendly at all, and they didn't make us feel welcomed at all.

We spent 2 nights in this ancious hotel, with good rooms and excellent breakfast. Pity the hotel was closed for dining and bar visit on sunday and monday. In all we enjoyed our stay very much in one of the beautifulst parts of the Ardennes.

We visited stavelot for two days and stayed at the hotel. The room is well furnitured, rather old fashioned but has everything. Bathroom is fine with plenty of towels. Most appreciated was the silence in and around the hotel. The restaurant looked good even though we chose to eat outside. The beds are fair, toilet had 'odd' odors. The personnel...

Hotel La Maison and hotel l'Espion are sister hotels next to each other at the Place St. Remacle in Stavelot. These hotels share the reception and the restaurant, and have the same owners. We have stayed at l'Espion twice (see my reviews); this time we obtained a voucher for a two night stay at La Maison. The part of the...

We've stayed here for only 2 nights and didn't use the breakfast buffet of the hotel, but the room was nice and cosy and the beds were fine. Small but alright bathroom with a bath and nice shower. Restaurant and bar of the hotel looked quite modern in relation to the rooms.

Lovely charming hotel with a nice view for a good price. The quality of the room is a average, but I would not advise to stay there in wintertime. The shower was not to comfortable and we left with backache from the bed :-(. Stavelot is a little village in medieval style with some bars and restaurants. There are a...

We stayed two nights at this hotel. We booked via a last minute website so we got like 75% discount on the normal price. The place looks very nice, good breakfast, but the beds are indeed bad! The rooms are in a old and nice style! Good place but not for the normal price.
