The most friendly hotel I have ever stayed in! Based on recommendation from Trip Advisor, we stayed here on a mini break to Belgium. A beautiful location about 3km upstream from the charming little town of Dinant. This B&B is literally built at the bottom of the cliff, by the road and river. It is a lovingly restored building, which...

We were fortunate to be able to stay there for three nights in May 2009; as mentioned by others, rooms are very limited. So book early to avoid disappointment. We stayed in the largest room which is located at the back of the Auberge, which made it very quiet. Vincent and Helena are such wonderful hosts. Vincent is fluent in...

This was a great bed and breakfast. Although you definitely need a car to get to the hotel and into Dinant, it was a very clean room and the owners were wonderful. Free wifi made it all the better. If you're going to Dinant to visit the Leffe Abbey (as we were) make sure you go there from June through...

We consider ourselves lucky to have gotten a room at L'Auberge de Bouvignes. From what we understood, Vincent and his wife only have a few rooms operating at the present time (they are refurbishing a few rooms at a time) and they close the hotel occassionally to work on projects or to go to Italy for food/wine supplies. The rooms...

My Brother and I spent a great night at this hotel over the Easter weekend. We were part-way through a tour of the Ardennes on our motorbikes and decided to stay in Dinant. The hotel was fantastic and is family run too. Vincent, and his family do a great job at making you feel very welcome and comfortable, and we...

My fiance and I had a wonderful 2-night stay at L'Auberge de Bouvignes. Vincent and his wife are terrific hosts and are both very friendly. We enjoyed our breakfast in the morning and loved the warm fresh breads, freshly made orange juice, and excellent coffee. Our first morning there we chatted with Vincent for two and a half hours about...

We were staying in this auberge in Oct. 2008. Great location in the outskirts of Dinant. Old house of more than 200 years. Although it is located on the main road and next to the railway; you could barely hear the traffic. rooms were newly renovated tastefully and with all the comfort one needs. Nothing was too much to ask...

Rohan & Pauline - Australia We orginally booked for one night at L'Auberge de Bouvignes, but after meeting Vincent, seeing our lovely room and sitting down to snails, excellent wine in the beautiful dining room, my husband and I decided to stay another night. Trip Advisor certainly got it right in awarding this place #1 in Dinant. Vincent is the...

The previous reviews say it all. Vincent and Helene provide the world's best service for a B&B or large hotel for that matter. If you enjoy getting to know your friendly hosts and being cared for like family, then this is your place. We had reserved the larger room facing away from the street due to our young son. The...

We have just returned from a 3 night stay at the Auberge de Bouvignes which we found on Trip Advisor - where it had excellent reviews. The previous visitors were right - the hotel is excellent and Vincent a friendly, caring and knowledgeable host. The food was great, prepared to order so is always fresh and the breakfast at 6...
