The (relatively) recent conversion of this old tannery into a hotel leaves you underwhelmed with the result. Very old, narrow staircase, floors on many different levels make this a complete no-no for anyone with impaired mobility, despite having a small lift. Bed comfort is good...More
Unfriendly and snooty receptionist who decided that he just had to switch into his poor English to explain something, after a five-minute discussion in flawless French. Why do French speakers feel entitled to do this? He proceeded to give us poor directions, which got us...More

Probably too late, but unless things have changed since I was there last, the hotel car park is quite small and open air on the surface. There is a code operated barrier that stops cars but pedestrians can enter unhindered. It's a rough cobbled street. The nearby Ibis hotel has two relatively secure car parks - a shared underground one with a passenger lift to upper floors, and a small surface car park to the rear of the hotel, reached via a gated entry way adjacent to the reception area. The underground car park has a roller shutter door, entrance around the corner from the hotel, beneath an office block. Both vehicle doors/gates are opened by the hotel using an intercom. I used to visit Namur monthly on business and have parked at both hotels many times in both rental and private cars and never had a problem. Namur is pretty safe but perhaps busiest when the fairground is in use.
