I have stayed in a few Ibis hotels and most of them are very similar and this one was no exception. You get a good night's sleep for a reasonable price, perfect for those who don't feel comfortable staying in a hostel, guest house or cannot afford a luxury hotel. The hotel is situated close to the center, about a...

The location is perfect. Very central and near the university too. The room was well Kept and clean. On the small side but not too small. The bathroom was too small however. And the air conditioner was VERY noisy. Even when it was off ((it had to be turned of at night) there was a residual noise as if of...

All the things you don't want in a hotel. Massive building site outside that stopped work late and started work early. Noisy aircon unit that had to be turned off. The room was as small as a cupboard, and there wasn't even tea and coffee provided in the room, and no drinking water. Poor.

Stayed for two nights and felt comfortable. Rooms are bright and big enough for my elderly parents. Short walk to the main shopping street and about 15mins slow walk to the castle, and in between the historical and art district. Comfy bed, everything works.

Poor for a well know...

In the very centre of Gent, Belgium is Ibis Opera Hotel situated. At a very good price this is a very nice point of making a trip through the old city, with medieval castle: het Steen, and very picturesque, narrow streets alongside it . From this hotel it is just a minute to the shopping area, with a variety of boutique's and...

My partner and I, and a friend, stayed a night just before Christmas. The hotel is very close the city centre and the Christmas Market. There was parking (although it was expensive) and staff were very friendly. Our room was a good size, but the bathroom was tiny. Breakfast was great - one of the biggest choices in an Ibis...
