This is a classic Ibis hotel, Clean, modern, easy to check in and check out. The localization os great, as the city is very small, it's easy to walk from hotel to the main attractions. Close to restaurants, pubs and stores. Nice bar and restaurant at the hotel. The breakfast buffet ia very expensive. There are cheaper options close to...

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We have been to the Ibis Sint Baafs a few times now when visiting Gent. We return because of the great location, reasonable price and well-sized, comfortable rooms. As a small family of 3 (hubby, wife and 10 month old, though we stayed before she was born and when she was younger) we love the family rooms. The travel cot...

The hotel location and lobby are great about this hotel. The rooms are old fashioned and cold looking (not great at all). My main reason to write this review though is that my purse was stolen from the hotel breakfest room and the staff said it has happened several times. They didn't warn anyone about it and when I advised...

I stayed here on business. The reception and bar area are excellent and staff very good and friendly. The location is amazing and even though it's in the city don't think your room will be noisy, my room was quiet at night. The rooms are extremely basic and are in need of revamping, they are more like student/hostel accommodation, but...

Located centrally this is a clean, tidy hotel in which the service proves excellent. We only stayed one night in a twin room but were pleasantly surprised on arrival. Everything was clean and fresh and you really couldn't expect much more. Well done Ibis.

We stayed for 2 nights. Fast and efficient check in. Friendly staff throughout our stay. Good size rooms with very comfy beds. Great amenities and a nice view of the Cathedral. Do one of the boat tours, only 7 Euros and you get to see some of the beautiful buildings from an alternative angle. Gent itself is picturesque, quirky and...

Just got back. The location is brilliant on Cathedral square. Reception very friendly and the bar staff were excellent. Breakfast was good (€15) with small hot buffet plus plenty fresh bread and the usual stuff. The rooms were small and beds were also smallish. I was glad it was single occupancy!

I think most people book this hotel for the location, which is very convenient indeed. The hotel itself is mediocre. The rooms are quite small. The design is a bit outdated. In our room the heating was not working as it should (it produced heat, but also a lot of noise), which was a hotel-wide problem I learned later. Our...

Good beds, but the room is very small. The air-conditioning is very noisy, so had to turn it off in night . Breakfast is OK, but nothing special. Very central and lots in walking distance. Friendly staff

Hotel staff were friendly and cheerful, very helpful storing our shopping bags and luggage throughout the day until our room was available. Perfectly clean and pleasant room, everything worked well, great shower, heating, tv etc. Great value for money.
