A very nice and cosy hotel only a 3 minutes walk from the central train station (which is a beauty) of Ghent! Spacious rooms and great service. Very clean. The breakfast was very good. The staff is absolutely professional, helpful and friendly.

Charming hotel, spacious rooms, close to station and exceptional service. The host was extremely informative and his passion for the city was detailed and quite contagious. Would highly recommend and definitely return.

We booked 2 rooms for 4 nights in December. The hotel rooms were spacious and clean. The front office staff specially Jeffery and Alan, brothers, were very very good. We will return someday, just because of them. The breakfast had a good selection. The rooms are very clean. Water is provided and refreshed daily. What made the stay memorable was...

Not sure why people are raving about this hotel. It was adequate for a night's stay. Clean, fairly comfortable. Could use more space in the bathroom and some USP ports for charging phones etc. The saving grace is the very nice and helpful staff and a yummy breakfast. No huge complaints but no raves either.

Stayed overnight at the Carlton in Ghent on the way to Dusseldorf. We chose the hotel based on other Trip Advisor reviews and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is a little out of the way but is still an easy 25 minute walk or 10 minute tram ride from the historic centre of Ghent. Don't be fooled by the unprepossessing...

Stayed here overnight in a triple room with my two adult children. We also had breakfast in the hotel. One of the two owners greeted us with cups of coffee and a map with suggestions of places to visit in town. The hotel is elegantly yet comfortably furnished, and the rooms were clean and well equipped. Breakfast was delicious--it included...

Our family of three stayed here and really loved it. Our host was one of the owners and was extremely friendly and helpful in navigating Ghent. He was also very knowledgeable about beer, which we appreciated! The property is lovely, very modern. It's right off the public transit train line, which made getting into the city very easy. I'd highly...

Upon arriving a kind gentleman received us. He explained us everything about the city and the basic knowhow. He helped us navigating in the city as well as in the hotel and we liked it a lot. The hotel itself was clean, with a nice staff and great a great walkthrough breakfast. If you wanted extras with your breakfast you...

We really enjoyed our 2 night stay at the Carlton. The staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We had a warm welcome followed by an overview of the City. We were given maps and a few suggestions for lunch. We had an excellent big room at the top of the hotel. It had a terrace which was available for...

Great hotel, location very comfortable, near central train station and close to tram station. Staff were so nice, so helpful, always smiling, gave us plenty of tips for the city. Breakfast was excellent! Pictures are misleading - it is so much better and so many options! Highly recommended this place.

Thank Hadarsen
