The loft suite is definitely worth the money, a lovely space with a patio and a view of the church spires. Breakfast is delicious and the facilities are great. The decor is modern with some antique items and is very well presented. The bed is super cosy too! We had a very warm welcome and really enjoyed our stay!

My family stayed at Alphabed for 2 nights in August. We had 3 rooms. Some elements were excellent others OK. The B&B is in a great location a short walk from a reasonably priced underground car park and the centre of Ghent. The B&B has 5 rooms and we had numbers 2, 3 & 4. When booking the B&B I...

Booked via booking.com and called on the way to Ghent to ensure we had the procedures for check-in down. The owner gave us the main door code, let us know that our keys where in the door, fill us in on the info for breakfast, and have us tips for parking. For 95€ this place was a steal. Breakfast was...

The hotel does not look as much from the outside but the owner is very nice and every morning there is breakfast down in the hall where he personally serves you your food. It has the real holiday feeling. The location is great. The only downside is that it is quite sound;)

This is a lovely place to stay in Ghent. Centrally located to the historic part of Ghent but a tram ride from a station which isn't so centrally located. When contacted Marc gave us the access code for the room which had been prepared for us and a key to let us in and out. The room had a balcony...

This was a really fantastic place to stay. Marc wasn't there when we arrived but we phoned him and within a matter of minutes we had the access code to enter the building. Marc is friendly and easy to talk to. We stayed in Retro kamer. Our room was really comfortable, perfect for resting after a long day out and...

We stayed in Ghent for one night and wanted a spacious bed and breakfast for three people in the center of Ghent. We found it at Alphabed (also called Loftsuite) . The owner has to be called when you arrive and he gives you a code to get in. Don't let that throw you! It is very secure on a...

I stayed in two different rooms (Riante kamer and Romantische kamer) in this bed and breakfast during three nights. Both rooms were clean and elegant. There is a big dancing school in the street, but it was very quiet all the time. Marc, the owner, is a very nice and friendly host. I did not try the breakfast, as the...

Alphabed is my B&B of choice in Gent. I've stayed in each of the rooms and each has a comfy bed and pillows, a good shower and a nice Samsung TV and one of the rooms has a bath. Alphabed is situated in a quiet side street with virtually no through traffic yet is only a 5 min walk from...

Roll out of bed straight into the centre of Ghent. Oh wait, you forgot the breakfast. It's light but hearty enough to keep you going till lunch and it's served in a beautiful/rustic little kitchen. Our room (Riante kamer) was at the front of the house but the street must be the most quiet in Ghent, too small for traffic...
