I booked this hotel 3 months before my check-in date on booking.com. I arrived around 8:30 pm to find the hotel door locked, a note saying to check at the hotel next door. They had left me a key at yet another hotel, the lowest ranked in Leuven with no explanation. I managed to talk to booking.com who contacted the...

I booked this hotel at the last minute (embarrassingly, I'd made a mistake about a booking at another venue in Leuven). It was recommended to me by someone attending the same academic conference in Leuven. Despite my late booking I got a "single" room for €49. In fact it had two single beds, and was very roomy for one person....

We had a late check in, all coordinated, with the manager, so the key would be waiting next door. We arrived. 0h15 and there was no key with the neighbours, finally a 2 am, we were able to get in to our rooms, after ringing the bell for more than 1 hour. The neighbours told us that it is very...

We were aware that our hotel was also a restaurant and was in a square near the train station. However, once out of the train station, we were confused. So we cross over the street and looked for the Hotel Mille Colonnes. We found it easily and we entered with our luggage into the restaurant to get our keys. To...

I booked into this hotel but when I arrived I was told I was in the sister of hotel of this one and was given a key to a room across the street. Very confusing when I had just arrived from overseas and the staff spoke little English.

Mille Colonnes is a no-frills hotel, just in front of the train station and walking distance from the city center. The rooms are simple, but clean and silent. Breakfast was nice with fresh kinds of bread. Absolutely value for money. The next time in Leuven, I will definitely stay here again!

They are honest on their websites:not all the conforts are provided, but even in the simplicity of the rooms, i found it really a good staying for a weekend. Rooms are clean and big enough, internet is good in the room and the breakfast is really good. Great price/quality relation!

When we arrived the room was not ready. Bit awkward when you are already in your room when they clean it. When the room was ready after about 10 minutes they came to tell us that we were in the wrong room. Eventually we could stay in that room. The room was nice and clean, small bathroom but clean. Wifi...

Very good value and close to the station. Walking distance from town centre. Clean, quiet room and friendly service. My emails before the visit about parking were answered quickly and helpfully: if you don't have lots of luggage, it is much cheaper to park overnight in Minckelers Parkeergarage, a few minutes walk away.
