The room was very clean and nicely furnitured, we had some chocolate as a welcome present. Location was close to the center and the owner was very nice and helpful. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Spent six days in Brugge. Hans was super helpful and friendly. Excellent location - couple of hundred metres to town centre, great little deli next door and fab restaurants close by (not your routine tourist ones in market square). Room clean, comfortable and spacious. Great memorabilia items down stairs.

Hans is a great host, with lots of useful information about Bruges when you arrive, and at any time during your stay if you need it. All the major tourist attractions are within easy walking distance, as well as some of the lesser known ones. The room had everything needed, with a large comfy bed, and a kettle, microwave and... We stayed here at the end of the summer for a couple of nights, for our first visit to Bruges. What a great base to start your tour from! Right in the middle of the historic town in an authentic and imposing grand house. We had the loft room; an excellently equipped kitchen offers a welcome alternative to restaurant meals... More

We had a lovely trip to Bruge, where we stayed at Maison de la Rose. A great place to stay - very comfortable, very close to the city centre and most of all - a great couple that hosts the place. We were given all the detailed information that we needed with very good tips on where to eat and... More

We had a lovely stay at Maison de la Rose, which is a beautiful old house pretty much in the centre of Bruges. Marianne greeted us and gave us a guide book and other helpful info, like places to eat at (and avoid!). She was very friendly, as was Hans when we met him. The room was light and spacious,... More

We had a lovely 3 night stay in Bruges at the Maison de la Rose. The house is difficult to locate (there is no sign), and it was more of a guest house than a hotel or B&B. No breakfast was served, and the rooms are not cleaned daily. This was just fine for us, though. The house is very... More
