We had stayed here years ago. The hotel is still a very good deal, on the edge of the old town, across the street from the biggest underground parking garage. Service is great, and we had a nice breakfast, varied and good quality. The only problem was that our room (222, also known as "the three ducks") had a very...

After an endless walk from the P and O ferry bus stop near Minnewater [ we got lost] it was a relief to arrive at the hotel. Beautifully decorated with greenery, reindeer and polar bear heads the reception area was most attractive. Luggage safely stowed away we hit the town early, check in being unavailable till 3pm. Our room on...

The hotel was in a very good location near the station & the Market Square. Breakfasts were excellent & the room comfortable, though not light to be able to read comfortably. Staff were polite & evening meals well presented, though unimaginative.

Arrived all excited the room we was shown was large enough but smelt really bad of smoke, we asked to be moved then they did so but the next room was black mould all around the bath! Moved again it was a lot smaller but we just put up with it would not go back to that hotel although it...

Had one night stay. Came for the Xmas market and sight seeing. We couldn't check in till 15.00 but there was a storage room where our baggage was secured. When we did check in it was very quick. Our room was on top floor - 5. The bed was a super king size, very nice and comfortable. The room was...

Hotel was decorate for Christmas and looked lovely; great open foyer and lovely homely lounge set around a fireplace (shame it wasnt a real fire!). The bar was great to come back to for a few late night drinks - cosy and bustling. Only downside was a smell in the corridor of our floor (5th floor) but the beds were...

The hotel was very friendly and informative and couldn't have been in a better location for sightseeing in this beautiful city. We visited 'Cambrinus' a very interesting restaurant with most food made with beer and an unbelievable section of beers and incredible atmosphere, in addition a chocolate tour, Picasso museum is a must, the bell tower for amazing sound &...

Front desk service was excellent but the hotel has certainly seen better days. Our room was a very generous size but was tatty and had not been cleaned properly in awhile. The location was brilliant though being minutes walk from the centre.

The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the historic centre. There is plenty of cheap, safe, underground parking just across the road. One of our party's room smelled of cigarette smoke, but when we mentioned this to the desk, it was completely rectified with a deep clean whilst we were out. The staff were friendly and helpful. The...

Thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this hotel - lovely rooms, friendly and helpful reception staff, cafes restaurants and shops walking distance from hotel. Reception staff recommended several great restaurants which were outstanding, a good late night take away and shop to buy soft drinks, as well as advice on where not to eat due to high tourist prices. The ladies...
