I want to share the great points first. The staff was very accomodating, we got in a little late and they were able to squeeze us in for the night. They gave us a key so that we could explore Brugge at the quiet hours of the night (which is still my favorite time of day in Brugge). The hotel...

We stayed here for three nights quite recently. It is located in a quiet part of town, within walking distance of everything. The only drawback is that we found it difficult to find somewhere close to have a drink in the evening. There is a nearby square with a couple of restaurants and some outside tables, however we were told...

We spent 3 nights at Europ Hotel. It is a bit further out then we had expected and needed a taxi to reach the station. However it only took 15-20min to walk to the main square and we were able to walk all over the city centre very easily. The room was large, a good sized bathroom (inc a bath)....

We stayed here for one night, and woke up with dozens of bug bites. Not sure if others have had a similar experience. The room was shabby and the bed clearly in poor condition. Aside from this, the hotel seemed to be a good value for its location, and offered a nice complimentary breakfast.

Hope you have GPS because the hotel is hard to find. Plus the desk attendant was somewhat rude, made us feel unwelcome, and we hated to ask him anything-like we were interrupting him. (we are in our 60's and no one should make us feel that way!!) He could use some people pleasing skills. Find out later he is the...

Stayed at Hotel Europ for two days at start of July 2012. Having driven into Bruges for the first time we did have some difficulty fnding the place as the directions posted on the hotel website are a bit dodgy in terms of estimated distance. However, having found the place we were quite pleased. If you are travelling by car...

This hotel is in an older part of Brugge, right on a canal where it is crossed by a bridge. Our room had this view and I spent the first half hour or so taking photos! Though we are in our seventies we were easily able to walk the 2km distance from the station (we travel with wheeled hand luggage...

As basic hotels go this ticks all the right boxes i suppose. Only a short taxi ride (10 euros) away from the train station and only a 5 minute walk from the main square and all the bars and restaurants. I will get my small gripes out the way first. We came back to the hotel at about 10pm and...

Good value budget hotel if you want 'a bed for the night' rather than a hotel to socialise in. Reception lady very helpful, rooms basic but clean and adequate. Breakfast good. Location is excellent, easy walk to centre of town. Did not expect any more for the price.
