Stayed three nights in Feb.2013. Couldn't have chosen better. Room was lovely-small but had everything we needed. Benny was a star and so helpful, provided us with lots of local information and phoned to check if the pub round the corner was open before we...More
A little gem of a hotel just a short walk from the Markt in Bruges. The hotel is in a lovely part of the city - we recommend pottering around the north-east of the city (minutes away from the hotel) towards the windmills if you...More

Breakfast exceeded expectations. Paul Asselman and staff helpful and attentive. Definitely recommend this property. The reviews are all...More
Really enjoyed our stay in this cosy little hotel. Well looked after by Paul. A really clean, comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Good location, about 5mins walk from the markt. Will return and would recommend.

We are close to the north sea and benefit from a mild maritime climate. Because of our quiet location you can sleep with the windows open (they have mosquito screens). The few hotels that do offer it do this because their location is not so quiet or because the luxury character requires it. On the occasional warmer days our ventilation system keeps it cool in combination with blinds to block the sun and fan's in the room.

From Brugge train station you take BUS 4 or bus 14 until the 3rd stop after the old Market Square, named 'Gouden Handstraat'(once you drive with the canal on you right ring the bell as soon as it has passed the curve to the left. The next stop is just passed the next bridge. Continue walking along the canal and take 1st street on your left 'St Gilliskoorstraat'. At St Gillis church go right. The hotel is on your left. It takes 10-15min in total to get to the hotel.
