Just come back this morning after staying here for 4 nights, very relaxed hotel, all the staff were very friendly and helpful, the rooms are very clean, and the breakfast was delicious, this hotel is on the canal side which was really nice, and very close to the square, they have a restaurant which is situated across the road with...

We spent two nights and was very pleased with the room we had it was spacious and warm with a fire in the room and good view of a canal. Bed was really comfortable as well. Location couldn't be any better a five minute walk to the heart of Bruge. I am more than happy to recommend this hotel, a...

What a charming little hotel perfect position to get everywhere easily. We have just had two nights here and the staff were brilliant. Even the little pool was great for a Belgium beer hangover! Great city great place and the Belgium people are lovely. Roll on next Christmas.

This is a charming, old world building with very friendly and helpful staff. The period furniture is shabby-chic, and contrasts with the modern bathroom fittings, but everything is comfortable and somehow works together. Rooms are warm, even in chilly November, and the whole is a charming experience. The breakfast buffet is excellent too. We will definitely go back next time...

Lovely setting. Our room was small with a view of the courtyard instead of the canal. It was a great place for our two night stay. Each time we would walk out the door and see all that was Brugge, we would wonder at it's beauty. I am grateful to the person who advise me to go out of my...

We've visited quite some hotels from the 'small luxury hotel' brand. This hotel definitely should not be in this list. Quality is low, everything is old fashioned. It looks like you're sleeping in your grandmothers house incl. her furniture. Sauna wasn't working and service for food and drinks is very low and slow. However, the location is perfect.

From the moment we arrived we knew we had made the right choice, the hotel receptionist was very helpful and we were informed that our room had been upgraded which was a welcome bonus of course. The room itself was beautiful with a stunning view over the canal and old city, very clean and spacious with a regal feel that...

We stayed for three nights at the Die Swaene hotel in September for our first trip to Bruges and we will definitely return. The hotel is an absolute gem and we couldn't fault it. Full of character and perfectly located in the centre of the city opposite one of the oldest bridges in Bruges. The staff are also extremely welcoming...

This was our first time in Bruges and I opted for Die Swaene with a view to driving there in a classic car and using their on-site parking. Ultimately, largely due to the weather, we opted to take the normal car instead but the on-site parking was a real bonus, regardless. The outside of the main building was being renovated...
