Excellent stay, really helpful staff and clean rooms. The hotel is in a really good location for getting around. The underground parking is tight, but the fact that they have parking is amazing. I only found one problem and that was that the rowing machine didn't work very well. That would have just helped to stop me feeling so guilty...

The Academie is a lovely hotel, close to the Minnewater in Brugge. We went by ferry from Hull and this hotel is very convenient for the coach drop. You can leave your bags safely while you go about your day if your room isn't ready. Lovely rooms and fantastic breakfast. Highly recommended!

We found this hotel was a lovely little find! It was located centrally with the main part of Bruges basically on your doorstep, however this was not reflected in noise levels within the hotel whatsoever. The amenities and decor etc were of high standard and it felt like amazing value for money! Would definitely recommend!

The rooms are lovely and clean, the hotel is nice and the staff are very helpful and pleasant but as we've encountered many times before with previous hotels, the walls are paper thin. Our first day we were exhausted from the travelling so had a quick nap but was woken by a family arriving in the room above us. We...

This is my third visit to this hotel and each year just gets better. The rooms and lounge area are fantastic as is the breakfast. We stayed in room 228 which was decorated to a high standard. Looking forward to my next trip to this hotel.

My wife and I stayed for 3 nights in the Academie during February. The hotel is just a 10 min walk from the train station, (although the cobbled streets are not great for wheeling luggage). We checked in around 3pm and paid the 12 euro local tax that is required in any hotel in Belgium, The staff were all very...

We are just back from our stay here and found it the perfect location - close to everything! I found the hotel to be very modern and clean, friendly staff and a lovely interior. Recommended for sure! One thing to note is it is €12 charge each time for room service (we had only ordered 2 cokes & orange juice)...

Stayed only 1 night. The bed was comfortable. Outside of the historical city center but not far. Excellent breakfast, good value for money. It was an ideal place to stay during the Ronde van Vlaanderen. Close to the highway. But not noisy.
