Lovely hotel. Stayed for a short break through Riviera Travel. Comfortable, clean rooms. King sized bed very comfortable. Quiet location and centrally located for everything, shops, restaurants, bars visitor attractions. Great buffet breakfast. Nice bathroom although over bath shower space a little cramped but perfectly adequate. Clean and comfortable bar/lounge areas. Friendly helpful reception staff. No milk provided for the...

We found this hotel amazingly clean and comfortable as well as quiet - can't fault anything except the 'duvet' which would have benefitted from an extra 6 inches either side (just a bit narrow, leaving your back exposed when turning over). The hotel is only 10 minutes from the centre and has some wonderful shops and restaurants on its doorstep.

Stayed one night in September. Reception very quick and friendly. The accommodation in this old building are scattered around a central courtyard over three floors. My room on the first floor was big enough without being huge. The over bath shower was good and hot and easy to adjust. Room came with two singles pushed together which isn't my favourite...

Located within walking distance of shops , restaurants and places of interest. Plenty of choice for breakfast. Staff all very friendly. Room clean, well equipped and modern as well as having great views. We stayed on 3rd floor overlooking main cobbled street. Enjoyed the daily chocolate supplied with tea and coffee:) Stayed 3 nights with Riviera Travel. Would recommend

Just back from staying at the Academie for the second time, courtesy of Riviera Travel's excellent choice of hotel. Perfect location, easy stroll to the main square and surrounded by super restaurants & just a stone's throw from the Beguinage and the Brewery. Hotel itself well appointed, very comfortable, free wifi, super breakfasts & very friendly staff.

Modern hotel, downtown Bruges. All highlights within 10 minutes on foot. Many services, shops and food store just round the corner. Standard triple room very large and with all comforts. Staff has been welcoming and proactive. Garage in the basement (fee 20€/day) is a benefit for those traveling with a car (as we were). Very positive experience.

Stayed in a very clean and comfortable room. Staff very helpful as they spent quite a bit of time booking a restaurant for the 4 of us. The bar is quite small but has a good selection of beer's although very little wine. ( The white wine was the worst I had over our 3 night visit) But..... the breakfast...

Stayed here for 3 nights with Riviera Travel. It is a lovely hotel with comfortable clean rooms, the staff are very friendly and helpful. There is a wide choice for breakfast including bacon, sausage, egg etc. It is in a very central location just around the corner from the Half Moon brewery and plenty of resteraunts in close proximity.

Great location within short walking distance to all of the sights. The hotel has a car park which made it convenient to store the car and walk. Highly recommend walking around town. The one way streets are narrow and not easy to navigate. The property and rooms are well maintained and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful.

excellent room, location, facilities and service. much better to be based here than near the markt area of bruges. it is less touristy and still within 10 minute walk of most attractions. several good restaurants down the street, the brewery round the corner, minewater park 2 minutes walk, beguinage round the corner.
